Popped in here for the first time for lunch today and had a great experience. My server Bryant was excellent and answered my questions about the menu. He also informed me about their events and talked a bit about their rewards program. I appreciated the information a lot, and definitely will be returning.
Place is quiet around 1:30 but would be a good place to bring a group. Lots of big tables, and I think I saw people playing dominos at one. Definitely did not feel rushed.
I ordered the public house burger,.which came with fries and a pickle. Burger was juicy and cooked well, and I enjoyed the toppings. Great flavor, and I’m not feeling like I’m going to reek of garlic for the rest of the day. Fries were hot. crispy, and salted appropriately (I enjoyed that they had the kind with the little fried bumps on them) and the pickle was nice and crisp.
Looking forward to trying their entrees…the fried chicken and gouda Mac caught my attention.

By far the best experience I’ve had at a restaurant in months! I’m talking establishments ranging from fast food to fine dining. To begin, this restaurant is situated in quaint Old Town Manassas so you can escape the hustle and bustle. Absolutely enjoyed finding outside. Then there’s the food…great selection, good portions at a fantastic price and OMG, so flavorful down to the last bite! And finally, I’d be remiss to not mention Evan and Steven! These gentlemen were knowledgeable not only about the menu but the history behind the restaurant. They were impressively attentive, and so I never found myself searching for them to request a refill, napkins, or anything else for that matter. If you haven’t visited do yourself a favor and head over ASAP!

Went for lunch here today for the first time in a while. It was fabulous. We had the Club and the Reuben. Both were amazing with excellent, fresh ingredients. The marble rye bread is superb. The ranch we got for our fries was nice and thick, very tasty. Bryant took great care of us, had excellent knowledge of the beers on tap, and made us feel like regulars. We will definitely be back.

Wow what a great find!
After a long walk around the battlefield me, my partner and his two brothers were all super hungry!
When I happened upon public house kitchen, my group can be quite particular when it comes to food and we all left happy, satisfied and full!
Danyelle was our server and was super friendly and patient as she happily guided us through the menu making great suggestions along the way! She also mentioned what a great place it is to work and how active the owner is in the restaurant helping out in every department as needed and wow does it show.
We will definitely be back soon and highly recommend them to everyone looking for a great bite and a drink in the area!!

Great little independent bar/pub spot with good prices and a tasty lunch. Great club sandwich – on rye, just how I prefer. Great fries! Friendly server. Brunch menu was available, too, as it was Saturday mid day. Music was a bit on the loud side if that bothers you. Inside and outside tables were available. They do not any longer brew their own beer but have a good selection of local beers on tap plus many bottles and cans. Full bar as well. Would def return.

The staff at Public House is the best! They have the best bartenders in Old Town. They are always super friendly and take great care of us. All the food we’ve tried is delicious and we love trying the seasonal drink specials. You can’t go wrong with the burgers, pub cheese or French Onion Soup.

Public House is a great place to eat! On Wednesdays the $10.99 burger with fries deal is a great price, and happy hour beer prices are very good as well. The fried chicken sandwich is really juicy and has a very tasty sauce on it. And definitely upgrade to the Mac and cheese, it’s delicious! The employees are also very nice and attentive.

Public House Kitchen & Brewery truly exceeded expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely attentive. Our server was fantastic — helpful with menu and drink recommendations and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit.

Brian our waiter was amazing. Very friendly and attentive to our needs. Food great as always. French onion soup is the best I’ve ever had! Don’t walk past this place, it’s definitely worth the stop!
