First time at El Real in 10 years. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had The Texas fajitas and they were extremely good. The fajitas came to us on a hot sizzling and steaming cast iron pan. I normally just eat the beef off of these, and it was extremely tender and delicious. My wife said that the chicken and the shrimp were very good also. We also tried the street corn and as always we love that. I would highly recommend going to El Real Mexican Restaurant The next time you’re in Rincon Georgia and you’re looking for a good place to eat.

Hands down the best Spanish food in Chatham County!! Wonderful atmosphere, amazing food, great service… I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! If you’re in the mood for authentic Mexican cuisine, great drinks and great service stop by and enjoy! You won’t be disappointed!

The best Mexican restaurant in Effingham County. There are so many delicious dishes on the menu but if you find one with the El Real sauce on it, it will be the most amazing food you’ve every put in your mouth. The sauce is a creamy mushroom wine sauce and I wanna buy it buy the gallon. The owner is super kind and treats everyone like family as they come in and leave with actual hand shakes and fist bumps. The atmosphere is welcoming.

I haven’t had great Mexican food in a while. New to the area and we decided to try this location. The service is wonderful. The food is okay & reasonably priced. I got the Texcano burrito and he got Texas fajitas. Our drinks were just okay as well.

Got these asada street tacos. I love how all the toppings were on the side so I could decide how much (or little) of the onion, cilantro or hot sauce I wanted to put on. The hot sauce was very hot but a very good taste. Free chips and salsa when you come in, prices for everything are extremely reasonable and the staff was super friendly.

I always get a good feeling when entering an establishment where the staff is friendly and welcoming. All of the staff at El Real are friendly and helpful. This is a family-owned Mexican restaurant. They always go the extra mile to ensure patrons have a great experience. There was plenty of parking but only one handicap space. Mexican music is at a good volume to not overpower conversations at the table. I love to eat here because it’s so enjoyable interacting with the staff while we eat. When the restaurant opens, it’s the best time for seating. They fill up quickly and there sometimes is a small wait due to the high quality of their food and good service. I have never waited more than ten minutes during the lunch rush to be seated. The staff keeps the restaurant clean and at a fairly comfortable temperature. It’s usually on the cooler side for my taste but not excessive. My service experience here is always excellent. Our server arrived quickly and took our drink order. When she returned with our drinks she took our food order. Before our drinks arrived; the queso, salsa, and chips arrived. The queso was warm and somewhat thick on top. Be careful because it’s still thin enough to drip if you’re not watching. The cheesy flavor of the queso went great with the warm chips. They were sturdy enough for dipping with few breaks. We ordered stuffed jalapenos for an appetizer. They are large, stuffed with cheese, and two jalapeno halves. The breading and spices provided a delicious scent and delicious taste. It comes with ranch dressing, various vegetables, and a slice of lime. Our server was friendly and accurate with our orders. She was attentive and brought our food promptly. I’m eating the grande chicken quesadilla with rice, beans, and salad. The beans always have good flavor and texture. They cook the rice to perfection. It was firm but not hard or mussy. The salad was fresh and crisp. Their vegetables are always well-colored, fresh-tasting, and flavorful. My chicken quesadilla arrived hot, filled with fajita chicken. I added some of the queso to provide a deep cheese taste. The fajita chicken was tender and juicy. It had a fantastic flavor with a smooth firm texture. The aroma of the spices made my mouth water. Part of the dish is a lettuce and tomato salad with sour cream. It sounds strange but is not bad. There’s always enough food to satisfy my appetite and have enough to take home. Our server provided to-go boxes and asked if we wanted to go cups for our drinks. When leaving, they said goodbye as enthusiastically as when we entered. It’s always a pleasure dining here. This is my go-to restaurant for Mexican food.

All I can say about this place coming from a Mexican person my self is that this place is not Mexican flavored at all. This is not what Mexican food should taste like at all, starting from the tacos, meat is NOT soft and does not have any flavor, the meat quesadilla cheese was not even melted, the ribs were not grilled like they stated in the menu it was fried and texture was hard to chew. Very bad experience with the food I was traveling and made a quick google search for a good Mexican restaurant near by and since I saw good reviews I thought the flavor was good but to my surprise I came out very disappointed.if you haven’t tried real Mexican flavor food you might think it’s good but like I stated before I’m Mexican myself and this is not what real Mexican food should taste like. Also Place looks old and bathrooms smell terrible and not clean. Just a bad experience in general with this whole place.
