Healthy kidneys filter excess sodium, but high salt intake damages them by increasing blood pressure and causing fluid retention, leading to chronic kidney disease (CKD). Adults should generally limit sodium to 2,300 mg daily (about 1 tsp), while those with kidney issues or hypertension should reduce this to 1,500–2,000 mg.
Impact of High Salt on Kidneys
Fluid Retention: Excess sodium causes the body to retain water, forcing the heart to work harder and increasing blood pressure, which damages delicate kidney filters.
Disease Progression: High salt intake can accelerate the progression of chronic kidney disease.
Symptoms: High sodium intake can lead to swelling (edema) in the legs, feet, and ankles.
The food was ok. At $23/person (tax and tips) is pretty pricey for limitrd pizza options and overcooked chicken. The salad bar was pretty impressive. Most of the lettuce seems old. But the rest were above the normal standard. I love they have various dressings available.
The chicken were overcook, but the seasoning was nice. Juicer chicken would be perfect.
The pizza options were limited. We were there at 415pm. Maybe it’s the wrong time, however paying $16.99 for a salad bar and a couple pieces of chicken seems steep.
Overall, it’s a fun place to bring the kiddos. The service was outstanding, with friendly staff.
Unless you are craving salad bar, I would recommend ordering pizza from another location and enjoy your pizza at home and save some money.
“Reply to response from Owner
Having the ability to see the location of the dasher and having ordered from multiple different vendors, the quality of the dasher does not affect the quality of the material to build the pizza. Also, stores can require dashers to put their specific items into warm bags or other vessels to transfer food. The pizza tasted like it was left for 4 or 5 hours. Thank you for your reply, unfortunately, looking at the reviews for the past 3-5 months indicates this problem goes beyond the delivery service your company has chosen to utilize.
