Bombay Frankie Company customers affectionately dubbed them ‘home of the Indian burrito’ since they took a Mumbai street food favorite (The Frankie) and remixed it Southern California style. Their modern take on North Indian food makes the cuisine not only approachable and affordable but also mouth wateringly irresistible!

All food is great in taste
Place located outside the mall opposite to parking
Narrator voice: that was a lie.
This place came highly recommended by friends, and wow.. did NOT disappoint. We came as a family with two kids, big confidence, zero self-control.
Tikka Masala burrito? Destroyed.
Masala salmon? Shockingly good, now haunting my dreams.
Paneer? Creamy, comforting, perfect.
Samosas? Blink and they’re gone.
Naan..? the best.
Mango lassi? Kid-approved.
Rose lassi? Parent-approved. Emotional support beverage, honestly.
Basically: we tried a bit of everything and regretted nothing except not ordering more!
The food at Bombay Frankie Company is bold, comforting Indian street food with a twist, exciting for adults and somehow totally doable with kids (rare miracle!!!)
⚠️ Important parenting note:
You will be greeted by a horrible beast / nightmare creature at the entrance. (not talking about the owner, Alex )
It will stare into your soul.
It may scare your hypersensitive children.
On the bright side, hopefully they’ll stay quiet for the rest of the meal if scared enough
Shoutout to you, Alex, the French manager: hilarious, welcoming, great vibes, and clearly running this place with love (and strong spice tolerance)
Listen to your friends when they recommend this spot. If you don’t have friends recommending it yet, congratulations now you do.
Come hungry. Bring kids. Brace yourself for the monster.
We’ll absolutely be back!
Overall, the price point is very reasonable ($14-$19 for entree). The restaurant looks clean, well decorated and well maintained. Think about this restaurant as indian chipotle, but it has way better ingredients and flavor! So yes APPROVED, I’ll come back for more.
The staff was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Their warm hospitality and great recommendations enhanced our visit. The overall atmosphere was inviting, and the service was top-notch.
If you’re looking for amazing Indian food with great flavors and a friendly vibe, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
The flavor is outstanding, with a remarkable depth and authenticity that speaks to their in-house spice blends. The food quality is consistently amazing, and it’s evident that they take great care in their ingredient selection and preparation.
What sets this place apart is their innovative twist on traditional Indian food, offering unique dishes like Indian-style pizza and burritos. These creative takes are not only delicious but also a refreshing change from the usual fare.
The prices are very reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality and portion sizes offered. Having dined here twice already, I can confidently say that we will be regular customers.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking high-quality, authentic Indian food with a modern twist.
The burrito was pretty hefty and they do not skimp on portions. It was also assembled very well, so there was good ratio of each ingredient per bite. The chicken was very tender, juicy, and flavorful. The sauces in the burrito were great too, like a symphony of flavors. Loved the fresh crunch of the vegetables and the potatoes in it. The burrito can get a bit messy so grab some napkins. I also got a bottle Mango Lassi and it was delicious too.
Staff were also very friendly and helpful. I loved the music playing in there! I’m curious to try other things on the menu!
Overall, the food did not taste great at all. Ambience is fine with ample seating. I am not able to recommend this to anyone. You can find much more authentic tasting restaurants in Culver City.
It was nothing like an authentic ‘frankie’ and I should know as I’ve eaten one in Bombay!
