The gumbo was decent and had some spice to it. The hush puppies were good they have jalapenos in them which made them extra tasty. The shellfish sampler boil was good but some of the mussels included were bad they had not opened during the cooking process. The lobster tail was not cooked right and kind of gooey. Overall the taste was good I don’t think I will eat here again though just based on the cook.

Came to Angry Crab on Broadway and had a great experience. Reeves took care of us and did an outstanding job — fast service, great attitude, and super helpful. The crab boils were packed with flavor and the wings were surprisingly good too. Food came out hot, fresh, and exactly how we hoped. Definitely coming back.

I hadn’t had Angry Crab in a while, so we decided to order tonight, but it was very disappointing. My husband went to pick up the order about 40 minutes after it was placed, only to find out they had forgotten to make his lobster roll. He then had to wait an additional 15 minutes.
I ordered the shrimp broil with mild Cajun sauce, but it was extremely salty and much spicier than expected. The shrimp also tasted fishy, and when I looked inside, the meat appeared undercooked.
I have never left a one-star review for any restaurant before, but I do not want to risk getting food poisoning from raw shrimp.

The wait was long but very expected for coming during Valentine’s Day. Our server Juan was absolutely amazing and very attentive with how many people were here. He made sure to bring us drinks when needed, had good quick conversation when checking if we were okay. And offered delicious desert. I love this Angry Crab Location and actively recommend it to others.

This is one of my favorite spots to get a seafood boil. I usually go to one of the two locations in Tucson at least once a month. I prefer the location on Broadway, because it has a bigger bar and a little bit better laid out. Also, it sometimes seems that the crab legs are a little larger. I’ve had Juan wait on me several times, and he’s always responsive and engaging ( and he made me the first Michalada that I actually liked). But all the stuff at both locations are friendly and helpful. I decided to do a review today, because the food was especially tasty. I always get some version of crab legs and the trifecta. This time I added Dungeonous crab, which is hard to find in other restaurants. I highly recommend this place as a “hang out” location with really good food and great drinks!

The food and service is always beyond the best. This is my favorite and the most welcoming Angry Crab I’ve been to. Juan was our server this evening and did amazing. He and the rest of the staff were very attentive. Insured our drink were never empty, and napkins never ran out. Thank you all so much for at Angry Crab Shack on Broadway Blvd. Tucson.

Our waiter, Dapper Dan, was a gem! We were a ladies group of 17+ on our monthly lunch. He was charming, helpful and he did not miss a beat on orders, tickets and service! The Shrimp and grits with the trifecta sauce was amazing! (Tip… they sell the sauce there, I asked) Yum! I loved the hush puppies too! My mom had a grilled shrimp noodle dish that she absolutely loved too! Thank you Dan.

Could have been an off day. There was only one server and probably 7 or 8 tables. I’ve never been to a restaurant that serves your food in a bag with complementary gloves and a bib. The people I was with seemed to enjoy it. I got a noodle bowl with shrimp that was quite good. The menu was extensive. Quite a lot of options. I would recommend if you like seafood.
