If I lived near here, I would come here all the time! Brussels sprouts were among the very best I have ever had, anywhere. The clamp chowder was delicious, and the alcohol-free IPA hit the spot. All the servers were so nice, and I was happy to find myself among an evenly-mixed contingent of African-Americans and whites.
I think I’ll make a special trip to Pt. Richmond, just to enjoy the food and atmosphere again!

Biscuits was awful and no taste; salad cranberry and goat cheese was really good; they served Indian food in pub kabab was not good at all; server was awesome ; cheese burger was okay but bread was stale

This is a great bar I found on my way through Richmond about 8 years ago. I try to stop here and have a cocktail and relax every time I’m driving past it. The food is delicious service is great and the atmosphere is wonderful!

We’re checking out Point Richmond and really liking the area, so we decided to have dinner at Up and Under. I had the fish and chips and it didn’t disappoint. The vibe was relaxed, and our server, Kimberly T., was attentive and friendly. Glad we stopped by—this was a great choice for dinner.

Updated (11/2024). Would give this place more than 5 stars if I could. Now serving Indian dishes Tuesday-Saturday, and the food is excellent. I was so happy to hear the news that they recently started serving this second menu so I had to check it out and it didn’t disappoint (the original menu is great as well).
Original review (11/2023). So glad the point has Up & Under. Great burgers and quite a varied and large menu – it’s great spot to eat. Friendly staff, great service, and overall a great spot to have a drink, food or both.

This is my second time here, and I got the rib plate special again. $25 is kinda expensive for a few ribs, but it was really good. I’m from Indiana, and I could have gotten a whole slab for that price. And I drank water.
The service was excellent, and the food was excellent.
The only guy server I saw here tonight made my experience even better. Good job to that guy.

The daily food specials are great, but now they serve authentic, home madeIndian food (Weds – Sun only) from the comfort of their kitchen.

I usually come here once a week and the fried calamari is my favorite go-to appetizer, but on occasion I’ll order the clam chowder with shrimp. Absolutely delicious! Affordable price with a slight crunch to help satisfy my food craving while leaving me ready to wash it down with a mixed drink. Great service, amazing crowd.
