I always wanted to go here ever since I saw that burger preist won the burger award for toronto a few years back. The Vatican burger was the one that did it so I really wanted to try it.
My girlfriend and I went last Saturday and honestly I was a little underwhelmed. The burger was impressive but still didn’t look like the one in the picture but besides that the burger felt like it was missing something. There was no zip, no special taste to it. I mean like it was good but a bit basic taste. Was hoping to be wowed but just wasn’t happening. In a nut shell, a good burger but not a great one(taste wise). And the price for 1 Vatican burger combo and 1 bacon cheese burger combo was alil under 40 bucks. Not to crazy now a days but there are better burgers in the city. Service was good and place was clean so good job there.

Burgers are juicy and tasty, but the portions felt a bit small. Wish there was more fresh lettuce too.
The place was really hot inside, like a greenhouse, and the smell sticks to your clothes.
Also, could be cleaner — tables and floors need some attention.

Burger Priest consistently does not follow order instructions and the quality on the ingredients is inconsistent. Over and over my delivery order are incorrect. I never get the extra pickle I ask for and often get many raw white onions chopped in the burger even when I ask them not to. Sometimes entire items simply aren’t in the bag. The lettuce is often wilted and the fries are often hard and inconsistent. The only reason I keep trying to order from here is the nostalgia of Burger Priest in Toronto I used to love. But the Ottawa version is substantially worse. The inability to follow simple instructions when making a simple yet overpriced cheeseburger is infuriating. I’ve attached photos of my “extra pickles” and “no onion” cheese burger and you’ll see that that they did not follow instructions.

What an interesting burger experience! Never did I think I would have a smash burger between two GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICHES! The Vatican was an experience and a half, but the best thing about the experience was Simran and her service. She made sure we had a clean table, and gave great suggestions.

Single patty isn’t enough, drop the 12 bucks for double, comparable to 5 guys for being excellent/expensive. Been to Bank street location and here, both were great. Order in their decent app and it’s a 3 minute pop in, I’ll be back

First time at the Burger’s Priest. Ordered the OG double cheese and bacon combo. Damn good burger and fries. Toppings were fresh, patties juicy, flavorful and cheesy. Nice bun and crispy fries. What more do you need in a great burger. Front end was polite and courteous.

Stern hot dog was really good. Although their burgers are really good, I have been a repeat customer for their hot honey chicken specifically and it never disappoints. 9.9/10

Highly recommend that if you are in Ottawa definitely do check out this amazing joint who does an exceptional job of making sure the customer walks out with a smile on there face which should be the case after having amazing food! Everything is amazing and I mean EVERYTHING! Highly recommend topping up on that secret sauce they have!

I have had tons of burgers in the city. And this is officially my favorite one. The patties are smash burger style and seasoned well. The sauce is delicious. The buns well toasted. Honestly a great burger. I like the bacon and cheese (double patty). I had the smoke burger – wasn’t an fan. But I only go here now for my burgers. Highly recommend
