The Stilt House in Cedarburg is easily one of the best spots in town. The food is creative and full of flavor, the drinks are excellent, and the atmosphere is warm, cozy, and full of character. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a great burger and craft beer or settle in for a relaxed dinner with friends. The service is friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Whether you’re local or just passing through, it’s definitely worth a visit.

Overall was really good. The beer selection is pretty awesome! Food was good. It is loud and very difficult to communicate, even when trying to order. I had an Italian sandwich that was good but a bit unwieldy to hold. Had to just eat most with a fork. The Bier cheese fries are absolutely YUM, must try.

Love, love my visit to this quaint restaurant. The vibe was very nice. We sat outside in the shade and the had a nice breeze. Helen was our server and she made some awesome recommendations. She was amazing. The food and the accompanying sauces were amazing. We are visiting from SC and would love to see a place such as this in Columbia!

Highly recommend for out of towners!! Or in towners! I live in Seattle and was in Cedarburg for a couple day and wanted a nice spot I could have a drink, read a book, and relax. This place is amazing! The energy was so welcoming, clean, and bigger I thought. Service was sooo great and friendly. I have allergies and they were so knowledgeable and accommodating! So many things are homemade so it wasn’t an issue. The food and cocktails were delish as well! Definitely coming back when next I’m in town!

We went for lunch on a Wednesday. It wasn’t busy, the service was great, and the food was excellent. I had the Stilt burger and my husband had chicken alfredo and we shared the bier cheese, bacon, jalapeno fries. He also had the chicken gnocchi soup which was delicious! Overall it was delicious! Thought about pics after we had already been eating for a bit. Whoops!

Best restaurant in Cedarburg! The food is delish, friendly bartenders and servers, fun vibe, menu changes every few months, mug club and wine club, rewards program. Great outdoor space along Cedar Creek and next to an historic bridge. Highly recommend!

Came here for the expected ambiance from photos online. It was very nice to sit outside by the creek. First i had a mocktail, fall punch. It was delicious! Next was a cup of prime rib chili which kinda tasted like Wendy’s chili but I’m not complaining…about that. Next I had tuna tartare for my meal. It came out and looked kind of off. My first thought was it didn’t look fresh. I gave it the benefit of the doubt, thinking it was just the marinade giving it a darker color. However at first bite I found out I was right about the freshness. It was not rotten by any means, just not fresh, and had not much flavor. The smoky flavor was overpowering and it didn’t taste like much else. The avocado had brown spots which bothered me. The chips that came with it didn’t really have any taste either.
I gave it back to the staff who did not apologize for it. They did quickly give me another meal which I appreciated. I got the bacon brie and fig burger which was delicious. Fluffy brioche bun and the flavors were perfect together. I also got the Cajun bacon fries which weren’t great. All in all not the best food and the service was okay. I wouldn’t recommend.
