I have been to many Del Tacos, and this place was so clean. It had a great atmosphere. My husband and son said it was the best Del Taco. The bean and cheese burritos have the sauce ALL the way through it here, not just a pile at the bottom. They got my tacos wrong (they forgot to add the bacon) and I told them, and they were very gracious, corrected the simple mistake, and apologized profusely. I love this store. The parking lot was also clean, and there was nothing sticky in the store.

Just came through the drive thru, when I order and PAY for a large fry, thats what I expect. Instead I got this. Unacceptable! I came all the way from Texas just to try Del Taco in California because i’ve heard so many good things. It’s an understatement to say i’m severely disappointed in the entire restaurant. To start off, based on the menu, the food looked absolutely horrid and distasteful. The chili cheese fries have absolutely no salt, no flavor, the chili isn’t real chili, which tastes like watery hot sauce. The chili cheese fries are disgusting. Do not get the chili cheese fries unless you want to sulk in your own misery. Go to the chipotle next door instead of this horrid restaurant.

This place is disgusting. I watched a worker use her gloves to wipe down her counter before making my food instead of using a clean rag. The bathrooms are disgusting and had poop everywhere on the toilet no paper towels and the service is horrific. They’re lazy in there. And the tacos were full of grease.

I ordered about 30 dollars of food and it wasn’t as good. I’m not picky with food but the fries were overcooked and very salty. When ordering, the employee at front felt like she did not care for working and was a bit annoyed. Felt uncomfortable when ordering and rushed. I tried using the sticker coin machine, and didn’t get anything. I went to the front to see if I can get my 50 cents back to get a new one but got told that they can’t because they don’t own it. So be careful when getting stickers/tattoos or trinkets, you don’t get your money back if they are empty. But overall, it felt everyone was annoyed and unsatisfied in the workplace. But the restaurant is very clean as well as the restroom but usually stinks badly. If they can’t get the money back, that’s alright. They should at least put a sign over the machines that say they don’t work, or else it’s a blatant scam.

I arrived at a relatively slow time, but was still impressed with how clean the place was and how nicely they had decorated it for Christmas. Paige greeted me immediately and made sure I had my food very quickly. She was very friendly and very welcoming. My food was well-made and I really enjoyed being here. Since I now live on the East Coast, I miss coming to this chain of restaurants. Well done!

I have been sick so I have been staying in more but when I go to my Dr. Appts I treat myself out. I love Del Tacos tacos and meal bundles. Drive through a little hard to get to if there is a line because of the new Tesler battery chargers, Starbucks and just the location. Buy if no line, you are good.

Today was first time ever had such a bad experience. The drive thru cashier lady was very rude even when I was placing the order. She seemed bothered by even taking my order. She didn’t give me a receipt. Hands me my bags says it’s all there I drive hit red light look through bags realize my fries are missing. And my chicken soft taco is dumped in my bag not wrapped. I go back walk in say hello I didn’t get my fries with my combo and also can I have a new chicken taco plz. She starts saying what order we’re you I said idk you didn’t give me a receipt and I just came through so she searches it on screen finds it says an points at manger talk to manger I said okay can I just have my fries I paid for… she points again manger doesn’t say anything cashier starts giving dirty looks my way an points again I said excuse me can I get my fries an taco … manger said yes she give me my taco fries and receipt as the other cashier rolls her eyes and I say what’s your problem smile it’s a beautiful day. Come home start to eat open taco and it’s not even a chicken soft taco like I ordered.

Customers are always right and if I’m not coming at you mean or wrong then why act they way she did ?
She’s young and maybe needs to re watch customer service videos !
And as an ex manger of a pizza place I don’t think manger handled it well either she could have just stepped in and not let that chick speak to me so rudely

Del Taco is typically a safe go-to when traveling. However, I hope the owner/management of this facility is aware of and can get the exterior smell under control. The drive thru speaker area reeked of sewage and the horrific smell was nauseating. Thankfully it wasn’t an indication of the food after effects for us as we got our food and were back on the road.
