Amazing side street food stop! The staff were amazing, the food just as amazing and the prices are spot on. I got a slick size burger with BBQ add on with fires. The caramelized onions were so good and they put a few on the fries. Got all toppings. The burger was a but “tall” for my mouth but the toppings stayed on with a little mash. Paper towels instead of napkins is a smart option for this food. Full bar and drink options (Coke if that matters to the reader), I prefer Coke so all good. Servers were friendly and were great to interact with. Gave the atmosphere 4 stars because they were a little sticky – wood tops will get that way with heavy use, it’s not a cleaning issue. Bathrooms are small but very clean.

If juicy burgers and hand cut fries are your thing then Slicks is for you. We got ours with bacon (thick sliced and crispy) and fried egg (we each like ours how we like it and they got it right). You know you’re in the south when the mayo is Duke’s. Cold beers were available and football was on the screens. That about covers all you need for a proper burger joint…. and the teenager who only likes burgers have it 8 out of 10.

Great service and good selections. The hot chicken sandwich is yummy. The goat cheese and fig burger was too sweet and a tad weird. The kids chicken tenders were huge portions and tasted yummy. Regular cheeseburgers were good. I knocked off a star because the fries were rock hard and chewy. It was good – but nothing I’d go back for with a lot of other local choices close.

Great place to go for a burger. The food was tremendously good. I had a party melt that was excellent. Good quality meat and more than enough to eat for a few meals for me. The service was joyous and fun, and the drinks were very good. If you want a burger in Chattanooga, you have to go here.

First time here and the burgers were OUTSTANDING. Tons of options to put on burgers and fries. Kids meals chicken tenders were very tasty as well. Super crispy but not burned and still juicy. I will absolutely return. Also they have a great beer selection, big tables and outdoor seating as well. Service was great, staff was friendly. I was very impressed with this spot. Next time we drive up from Atlanta I can’t wait to come back.

A Mom and Son lunch date that was casual and full of comfort foods. My favorite was the bacon and blue slick burger. I added grilled onion. We had to try the truffle fries and the fire fries (about $10 each) and they were large. The atmosphere was fun and not fancy. If you go, take your time and check out ALL of the menu boards. You won’t want to miss anything. Also, there is a bar. The whole staff is very friendly and helpful. I hope to go back soon and try their wedge salad.

Hidden gem in Chattanooga for sure. First time visiting and lots of menu options that hit my palate. Since this was my first visit I went with the burger. Cooked to perfection, with bacon and the pepper jelly is incredible. I must say that the neidlovs bun takes this from a good burger to a great burger. It was gone in about 2 minutes, just couldn’t put it down. Happy I chose this place and will definitely be back for round two, three….more. Also a little icing on the cake $3 mimosas and a full bar and local brews on tap.

Slicks has one of the best burgers you can get in Chattanooga. I would recommend getting a burger and sit outside. Their Fire fries are the bomb and are just spicy enough to know they have some spice to them. Everyone you interact with is always in a good mood. If your looking for a good burger definitely visit Slicks. The burger in my photo is the slicks burger,full salad minus the onions, medium cooked add bacon and jalapenos. The perfect burger I would say.

slicks burgers is one if not the best burger place downtown! My sister and I created our owna- we both had the click patty with tomato , lettuce, and Chilli. She add pickles with her as well. We brought my mom here and she enjoyed her burger with all those ingredients as well with caramelizad onions! The place is like retro, it’s very neat and they have outside and inside seating! Highly recommend this place, family friendly!
