Ate here a couple times during my short stay. Chicken lips with dipping sauce are great. Their fried mushrooms are cooked perfectly, and delicious. Loaded fries had a nice buffalo chicken twist with frank hot sauce.

Tried this place. Found it by chance wanted to try something new. I will definitely be back. Don’t let the outside fool you. Clean tables. Nice space available. Attentive wait staff. I had the lip- urrito. Awesome i would ask for more sauce next time I got it with buffalo mild sauce. A good mix of chicken and fries and in a nicely toasted wrap nicely toasted not burnt. Great flavor mix. Next time I want to try the chicken fettuccine. I loved the kick the jerk chicken sauce had I tried my husband’s perk chicken sandwich. Nice thick bacon and chunks of pineapple. Portions are big. The mushroom fries as pictured very well cooked nicely breaded! Big enough for a family of 4. Made with portobello mushrooms. Ranch was homemade not the bottle stuff. Waffle fries were crispy and not over done or soft. They were seasoned same fries on lip-urrito I like seasoned fries but not all do. They have drink specials and interesting flavors. I liked the atmosphere. Some taste but also music playing. Interesting decor and plenty of room. 1 restroom.

Loved the lip (chicken strip) on a spud ! We also had the lip nachos. Excellent margaritas and cheesecake sampler. Very unique place on the mississippi river next to a park. Loved the refurbished old building. Busy at dinner time we ere early. Great waitress. Wish we had her name for this review (she was pregnant) Will go back next trip to Quincy

Our to-go order included a chicken salad with two grilled lips and we only received two pieces of lettuce with our chicken..
I don’t know if they ran out, got busy and forgot, or were being intentional but it’s crazy to charge $12 for this. We generally enjoy their food, but I might consider passing on the salad next time.

Our first time there and our waitress Madi was excellent and had the best customer service. Nicest person with the best attitude, kept our drinks filled. I even told her the bathroom was out of soap and instead of her just telling someone about it, she took care of it right then and there. I’m so glad we found this place after our son’s Wrestling Meet. Can’t wait for our travels again next year to have some more delicious chicken lips. Wish I had taken pictures.

The service here was excellent — very attentive and friendly, which really made the experience enjoyable. The staff made sure everything ran smoothly and checked in often without being overbearing. Food was good and came out in a timely manner. Overall, a great spot with a welcoming atmosphere.

Randomly came across this restaurant while in Quincy, IL and looking for a new place to try. The name alone drew my interest, while actually being within a throws distance of the river sold me on the idea. Menu wasn’t over complicated but still offered a variety of options. Our waitress was super nice and helped recommend great options. 11/10 would recommend. Also, found out their chicken lips are actually large chicken breast tenders, fantastic!

Neat little restaurant located down near the river front in Quincy. You can see the river, bridge, and train tracks (sometimes trains). We tried several different meals and enjoyed them! Service was excellent, and they took care of everything we needed. Would definitely visit again when in the area!

My daughter and I was on a scheduled visit and wanted to go to a nice place to eat , was going to go to o sheas but they are closed so we went to chick’s on the river because we are on a time crunch well we ordered our food, and no sooner than we got it a different waitress came up and asked if we paid yet and if not we need to pay to make sure the waitress got her tip because they have cut her so we rushed to eat , then she brings us our bills, and then we’re waiting on our change she comes up and says we’re waiting on our manager to open the drawer to get our change. So we got rushed to eat and to pay for what reason exactly?! And then our food is boxed up and we’re waiting to get our change my nine year old daughter said to me mom your not tipping them took my money off the table and said they don’t deserve it the service was poor. And I thanked her for acknowledging it and making me realize yes you should tip always but not when service is poor and especially when you was rushed and they was very rude. I’m so glad I am raising a great human. Who knows the difference between right and wrong doing to others in the service industry.
