I used to be a regular at Congin’s, but haven’t had their pizza for over 10 years since moving. I saw something about them offering a Chicago Deep Dish and had to try it.

Pass this place for yrs. Tried it today and wow!. Felt like I was biting into Zestys pizza from my teens but better. Service was polite and fast. Black owned and a standout example of what success looks like. I’ll be back.

I literally live down the street, and been around here for years and years and never ate here. But so glad I did, as the food was legit the best. The pizza was not for me, but for my Mom who ate their pizza with 3 toppings, it was pretty loaded and the price is cool for a personal cut pizza with 6 slices. Her complaint was that the sauce is not seasoned enough at all and taste bland.
My food was delicious. Fries were fresh and crispy. Not greasy, and neither was any of the food. The chicken tenders are 5 (big) tenders and for the price? Worth it. I got the fried mozzarella wedges which were super delicious.
I loved all my food. My dad loves this place too. So, I really enjoyed it for the first time. Nothing was greasy and every fresh. Very happy. The prices were super good too.
And the manager was super nice to me on the phone. He was generous to answer my call about the fried dough being missing from my order. He offered some free soda to me, but I just wanted the dough. Piping hot in brown paper bag with loads of cinnamon sugar. They do not put butter on it (kinda wish they did) but however still a 10/10. I cannot wait to try their pizza or wings soon.

Absolutely fantastic pizza that reminds me of home, and better, simpler times. Great taste in the crust, perfect sauce, excellent high quality cheese. An absolute delight, from a well-established place. There’s a reason this shop has lasted, and thrived. Love you guys!

Congin’s has been a staple at every family event I’ve been to since I was a little kid. (41 Now) This is hands down the greatest pizza of all time. The quality is amazing & I get hit with nostalgia which probably amplifies the taste for me. If you haven’t tried their pizza; you’re missing out! Thank you for helping bring family together for nearly 40 years! Our family love you guys!

I’ve been ordering from them for over 2 years delivery or pickup.. the pizza..as well as other items has gotten worse Dry, burnt, and no longer worth the price customer service/management is terrible it sounds like she was high and inconsiderate!! My order was over $50 I’ll be ordering from Pizza Hut or Papa John’s going forward!!

One does not visit Congin’s for atmosphere, it’s 1 drive-thru window and done! Best chix parmie around, and their pizzas also crush. Wish they were open daily, but they WILL take your order prior to opening the store some days. Yum!

This may be the worst takeout pizza I’ve ever had. Long line in parking lot to pick up, I ordered large pizza sausage/onion or $25 with tip. . Thank goodness for the onions. No flavor, barely a hint of sauce, minimal toppings. Garbage. Digiornos is better than this place
