Opened nearly 80 years ago. The food is better than most of the small town diners around the state. I really like the chicken bacon ranch sandwich and it is just an adorable, classic spot. You gotta pop in if you’re in the area.

The Barn has a small, homey atmosphere to it that reminds me of old-school diners. The food was amazing and super super cheap compared to most places. Servers were top notch and catered very well for my group size.

Absolutely LOVE this place! great staff, amazing food, and such a cozy atmosphere. Most definitely my new favorite breakfast place. Highly recommend to anyone wanting good diner food. Tami is super amazing and Caleb does a great job on the grill, and My server was super sweet, the rest of the staff was wonderful and helped me decide on what pie to get. A must try!!

This was amazing. The restaurant is cute and small. They have booths that can fit up to four people. The loose meat burgers are outstanding, and their breakfast looks really good too. I have to stop here again because it was so good.

Wow. This place is cozy and welcoming as can be. The pie selection is amazing, as are the pies. Their sausage gravy is just full of sausage, and that is just the way I like it. Everything was delicious and nicely priced. BUT! Bring cash! They do have an ATM though.

Very small restaurant. Would have been unpleasant with young children. Food was OK and lackluster. Ordered a farmers omelet and pancake on the side. Servings size were OK. Pancake was small and thin. The farmers omelet comes with sausage gravy, which I luckily was ordered on the side. Gravy was very gelatinous so the texture was off putting. Gravy tasted was just ok.
Also tried the pie ( strawberry-rhubarb) filling was good, but there was way more crust than filling.
Service was above average and friendly.

The barn is a staple of the Brainerd lakes area. The food is amazing + affordable and the service has always been good. It truly is a unique place to stop for locals and visitors alike.

We sat there for an hour waiting fir our food!! It was busy but an hour? The people sitting next to us ordered and got their food in maybe 10 minutes. Ridiculous! My 2nd and last time there! First time was the same,a long wait.
