Found this place on a trip through west central Ohio. I’m not usually surprised, but Wild Ginger was spot-on with their foods. Zero misses. Everything was a delight. The only “negative” I can offer is that the miso soup was a bit cooler than I had expected (warm but not very warm or hot). Still tasted good though.
The place is setup quite nice. It’s spacious but the seating arrangement is good for small groups to experience other diners without overhearing each other or getting loud.
Service was pretty good. Almost 5 stars but was missing a bit here and there and so 4 stars it is.
Overall 5 stars and will be on my to-visit when I’m passing through the area and looking for sushi or other Asian cuisine.

Stopped in for lunch and we were seated immediately. The staff greeted us and took our drink orders right away. The house salad ginger dressing is delicious. Our meals came in about 10 minutes. They checked on us a couple.of times and refilled our drinks. The menu is large. There is a lot of seating and handicapped accessible. During peak hours parking could be a pain.

Found this place by chance and I’m so glad I did. The sushi dinner was beautifully plated and super fresh — every piece tasted clean and smooth, especially the salmon and yellowtail. Staff were friendly and quick, and the whole vibe was chill and cozy.
Perfect spot for a relaxed dinner. Definitely coming back! ✨

Amazing food. We’ve tried a few sushi rolls, entrees, and soups/ramens here. Every dish has been great. Chicken is higher quality compared to takeout-style Asian restaurants, veggies are fresh, and presentation of food is great. Will be returning.

My wife and I have visited here twice and both times have loved the food. The Miso soup is delicious and it takes you straight to Osaka. The General Tso’s is made of all white meat, breaded and glazed with a beautiful sauce that is one of the best in central Ohio. The Combination Noodle Soup was excellent and packed with protein. If you are looking for a good sit down restaurant, in a quiet setting, this is a place you should consider

I walked in and immediately felt an off vibe. Regardless, I pushed through and sat down. Although there were open booths between other customers and bar seating, I was seated by myself far away from the other patrons.
I ordered the Dinosaur egg because it sounded interesting; it was rather disappointing. Too many flavors competing to present themselves to the palate. For my drink, both times I got a sprite, the syrup was missing so they had a machine issue.
The rolls I got were a mixed experience. The one with shrimp tempura was good. Nice balance of flavors, decent sauce, and well prepared. The POPCORN SHRIMP roll however treated extremely soggy. No real flavor stood out. It was just a mushy cushion for the popcorn shrimp.
For about 50 bucks didn’t feel worth it. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cool, would’ve given it a 5 if half the patrons in there didn’t look at me like I drank from the wrong water fountain.

What a hidden gem! My family and I were on a road trip driving through Ohio in an area we’d never visited. At first we tried to go to the typical highway stop American casual food joints, Applebees, Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden, etc… because we had 3 young kids with us, but they all had 20+ minute waits! So we gave this place a shot. And it was SO GOOD. The staff were so friendly, the food was delicious, and the price was a bargain! I can’t believe this place wasn’t packed on a Saturday night. If we are ever in the area again around dinner time, there’s no question where we will eat. My wife and I each had noodle bowls that hit the spot. Each was loaded with flavor, freshly chopped veggies and generous portions of the proteins we chose. Our 3 kids split a chicken and veggie dish. The portions were big enough that everyone left well-fed. We also had the edamame which was fresh and cooked just right. Again, the servers who were working could not have been sweeter. They were also quite funny. A truly great experience that I’d recommend to anyone who lives in the area or finds themselves passing through.

The Wild Ginger is located in Hilliard, OH next to BW3s. This restaurant is beautiful from the moment you walk in! There’s a beautiful full scale wood finished bar and Sushi Bar too. My wife had the Monster Roll and it was excellent, the mango was fresh and the ingredients too. I had the Japanese Singapore Rice Noodles with Chicken and the Hottie Roll. The spice although listed as a spicy dish and Sushi roll was too tame. The roll and the dish I had tasted fantastic though and I would definitely get the Japanese Singapore Rice Noodles again.

Had an excellent meal here. Was just a road stop for us driving through but turned out to be fantastic! Had real, proper lo mein done to perfection with great texture and flavor balance, and excellent wok char. Will stop by again when we’re on the road!

Don’t be deceived by the exterior. It is actually a really nice atmosphere. Service was quick. The spicy tuna roll was basic, and fine for an appetizer. The general tso chicken entree was great. Smoky, sweet, and had a noticeable bite. Most places say they are spicy, but I can appreciate the heat of this one.
