I hosted my bridal shower at Pasta Villa in Summer 2025, and it was everything I could have hoped for and more! I’ve been eating at Pasta Villa my whole life, and it’s hands-down one of the best Italian restaurants in Rochester, so choosing it for my shower felt like the most natural decision.

Shauna was incredible to work with – responsive, fun, and so accommodating. I got to customize the menu (which was a hit), and they let us decorate the private space with signage and games. They even took care of table linens, which made planning so much easier. The food, of course, was outstanding, and they allowed us to bring in a custom cake and cookies so guests with allergies had dessert options too.

The staff was kind, welcoming, and kept the energy up all day long. By the end of the party, everyone was up and dancing to our playlist, truly the best vibes!

If you’re considering Pasta Villa for a special event – do it!! Let Shauna help you keep the energy high, your guests happy and full, and yes, she’ll even send you home with the leftovers.

While visiting the Irondequiot area I decided to give Guido’s a try since it had decent reviews. Having never had a bad chicken parmigiana experience I figured I’d give it a try.

I picked up the order and things smelled good in the restaurant. The Lentil Soup was quite tasty and the bread was soft, warm and good so I had great expectations for the main dish!

I opened the container and saw very dark edges on the chicken! I further investigated and discovered the chicken was burned. I tried the middle and found no cheese anywhere and despite a great deal of red sauce this dish was dry, over cooked and tasteless other than the burned taste of the chicken! I’m never one to need the salt or pepper packets you get with plastic ware yet after using the entire packet this dish was tasteless and just plain nasty! I have no clue what they think chicken parmigiana is supposed to be but THAT WASN’T IT!!!

Sadly this was a waste of $27 at the end of a very long travel day!

Always delicious and dependable Pasta Villa! Saturday February 7. Got there minutes before opening,
Frank was nice enough to take us in out of the cold. Waited at the bar with a splendid glass of Chianti. Thank you Frank! Service was very attentive and friendly . Ordered Pasta Anthony & pasta bolognese, terrific flavors , just observe the dish before beginning to eat….This is the way to thoroughly enjoy the meal . Chocolate cake and peanut butter pie… every so often you must get dessert. TYPV

Pasta Villa is one of my favorite places to eat out . I sometimes bring my boyfriend or niece , brother when he came up from Florida! The owner makes his own unique recipes and all the food is amazing and there fresh ingredients and everything hits the spot from the French artichoke to. The wood fire pizza . And the desserts are scrumptious!I would definitely recommend this place for everyone who love hot home cook meals and don’t have time to make them!

This place is a Rochester gem. Went here with my family from out of town to let them experience Rochester’s Chicken French. We unfortunately had to wait over an hour for a table, so we just ordered some drinks at the bar. The food was good and came out quick. I think the chicken French was lacking flavor. It didn’t taste very lemony or have that distinctive sherry wine flavor, but everything else was wonderful. I’d go back to try other items on their menu! The vibe inside is very old and it was super busy on a Monday night.

First off the servers and bussers were on their game here we never felt negelected or left unattended at all . The food was very tasty I had veal French and the French sauce was very good , a bit forward of the wine taste but I like it that way and I appreciate that they ask you how you want the accompanying pasta plated .

My wife had the mahi mahi special with risotto and she said it was among the best she has had . We both got the clam chowder which we both loved .

For appetizer we had fried calamari and my only knock is they don’t serve tentacles but I get lots of people don’t like those so I can’t fault em . The taste was amazing and I would order again anyways I love that it comes with marinara and cocktail sauce .

Overall it was a very nice experience and I felt like the food was very good for the price point , also their bread came with garlic butter and that is just awesome .

Came to Webster for swim meet. Needed a spot to grab some dinner after. We love Italian so tried Pasta Villa. Gnocchi was delicious! My daughter tries chicken parm anytime we have Italian and gave it a thumbs up. My wife loved the meatballs with angel hair. We also had Italian wedding soup app along with delicious rolls. Highly recommend.

This place looks unassuming. We walked in and it’s an old-fashioned bar/restaurant feel. We didn’t have a reservation but the owner accommodated.our group of 6. They have a small bar as well. We ordered a few dishes; white sauce clams linguine, Penne with marinara, Chicken Parmigiana, Gnocchi with Alfredo sauce and another Gnocchi with red sauce and prosciutto. My pasta was perfectly al dente and perfectly seasoned. The dinner came with bread and salad or soup. The wedding soup was light and delicious. The staff were really friendly. I highly recommend this place.

As an Irish kid from Pittsford, I never really had a reason to come here. But somehow, I ended up dating a 150% Italian girl from Long Island, New York. I wanted to take her to a solid Italian spot for an early Valentine’s dinner since she lives out of state. Did some quick research, found this place on Google with good reviews, and decided to give it a shot.

I was a little skeptical after seeing the photos, but I took the chance. And it worked out. As soon as I walked in, I knew I made the right call. It had that old-school Italian vibe, with the owner coming over to ask you how the food is (by name, no less)—it almost made me want to pretend I was Italian myself and just go along with the act. At one point, I swear I saw Tony Soprano walking around.

Anyway, the food was great and not overpriced. I had the chicken parm—it was great—and my girlfriend had some meat and pasta dish, which looked good (I don’t really know what it was, nor do I care). Service was perfect too.

I’ll definitely be back.

Classic Italian restaurant. Greens and Beans are delicious. Order with sausage and gnocchi. Small dining room gets busy so you may need to hang in the bar and wait for a table. Super friendly staff will make you feel at home.
