Small little cute space. It is set up with mostly round tables to be able to have the family style experience. They were busy so we did have to wait a little while to be seated and served. Everything you order is a very large quantity because it is meant to share. There is a circular table on top to be able to move the dishes around easily. There were 6 of us so it was a bit pricey but there was plenty of food to take home for another meal or two. Everything came out hot and tasty. My only recommendation would be to have a menu where you could order an individual meal if you did not want to share. The bathrooms were clean. They do have a full bar for cocktails. Noise level is a bit above average. It is wheelchair accessible but could be difficult to move around.

Sooooooooo my daughter and I have been wanting to try this place..I wanna start off by saying the reviews are clearly deceiving. And a lot of people taste buds aren’t budding..The vegetable spring rolls were yummy but very very greasy. The main event which is two orders of 2 meats over rice..It was lackluster due to the fact our meats had bone..Putting bone in meat over rice and selling it for 15 bucks should be a crime..The pork was nothing but fat and bone..The chicken was dry and full of bone..The duck saved our rice dish..This dish was literally all white rice. The white rice had to be reheated because it was ice cold..The fact that this place has such a high review is alarming..Maybe dine in is 10 times better thn pickup. But unfortunately I won’t be back u only have one time to WOW me..And I work tooooooooooo hard wasting my hard earned money on BLAH food..Do better and I will be leaving a photo to show how my pork didn’t even look appetizing…Shame on this restaurant

Update: After eating all the lil pieces of “DUCK” this meal is SOOOOOOOOOOOO laughable..NEVER EVER AGAIN…and I’m taking back a star

Sad, really. When I was asked to review this location, I was genuinely excited… but NOPE. I ordered a very simple, basic dish—something even I couldn’t mess up—and it arrived swimming in oil. I’m talking about enough oil to soak through ten napkins.

When I mentioned the excessive grease to the staff, they actually laughed. I asked for napkins so I could try to salvage the dish, but no matter how much I blotted, the oil just wouldn’t stop pooling. Eventually, I had to give up. It was honestly disappointing.

I hate writing negative reviews, so I really did try to give this place a fair shot. But there’s more: they have four fish tanks that are so filthy it’s heartbreaking. The fish are crowded, the water is dirty, and it’s clear the tanks haven’t been properly cared for.

I cannot recommend eating here. I’m including photos so you can see just how oily the food was. Skip this place until they get their cleanliness and customer service under control.

Peking duck is not Peking Duck. It’s just roast duck they have hanging. They should be embarrassed but they’re serving people who have no ideas what the food is supposed to be. Xio Long Bao is done frozen product, maybe Trader Joe’s.

I don’t know why this place badass such a high rating. Same as your local takeout but not as good.

Hot and Sour Soto was fire, though.

Save your money.

Went on a Tuesday with my family. Specifically went for the soup dumplings. Wait staff was incredibly rude and made us feel like an annoyance. Our appetizers took over an hour to come out, while we watched other guests be served apps, entrees, and leave before we were fed. Once we finally got our soup dumplings (that the waitress practically tossed onto our table without even looking), we were left with more to be desired. They were bland, had hardly any broth in em, and honestly tasted like they were frozen and heated up in a microwave. I’ve had better dumplings from Trader Joe’s. Took another half an hour for our entrees to arrive. The entrees were SOAKED in sauce that was just swimming in oil, the beef was grey, and the protein portions were minimal. Neither one of us finished our meal. I really hate bringing up my last grievance, but I feel it’s relevant. If you’re from the Eastern descent, I don’t think you’ll have the same experience as we did.

Update: I recently dined here in person and I had a great experience. The service here is truly phenomenal and I really commend the waitresses that served us. They were extremely polite, very attentive, and had such great customer service. The food here is also amazing and you get great portion sizes for a reasonable price! I ordered the sesame chicken with white rice and vegetables, The honey walnut shrimp, spinach, and the sweet buns that they have that’s filled with this custard. Everything was really good! Seasoned perfectly! I highly recommend trying this place out if you want some really good authentic cuisine!

2 Years Ago:This was my first time trying out this place and I absolutely loved it! I ordered the shrimp fried rice for takeout and was very pleased with my order. I waited a little over 30 minutes, but it was quite busy in there so I understood. I didn’t expect the portion sizes to be as big as it was, so that was even more amazing!!! I was very pleased for the price that I paid. I absolutely loved the food I ordered. It’s very rare that you find other restaurants that cook their shrimp fried rice like this. I highly recommend this place and can’t wait until I come back to try other items! Also very reasonably priced!

Come only if you have patience to wait for 75 minutes for a vegetable dish and 55 minutes for a noodle. The waitress never checked on us for the entire time, after an hour, we had to ask her where are our food and she looked shocked as well… meaning she forgot us completely!!! After she went back to check, all the rest came in 10 minutes…

After all these happened… the restaurant shows no sign of apology, with a terrible service like this, they still charged 18% tips automatically…

This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant. Unlike the majority of the Chinese places in Hampton Roads, which are Szechuan, this place is Cantonese, so they offer a lot of different options. Everything tastes great and is the closest you’ll get to food sold in China. I am convinced that this is probably the best Chinese restaurant in Hampton Roads…….

As an update, I tried a few of the Dim Sum offerings, and they were all good…
