Small restaurant with a bar. Many of the items on the menu were fish. The food was good but we ordered sandwiches because the “dinner” plate options seemed a little high priced for what they were ($30 for a pork chop). That may just be personal opinion. That being said, our service was absolutely wonderful. The hostess and waitress were pleasant and helpful. Even with a crowded restaurant we were served quickly and checked in on regularly.

Youngest son took my wife and I to lunch. Both had been here numerous times (my first). Extensive menu and bar menu. I ordered the Bacon glazed salmon and my wife had the classic Reuben. She said it was the best Reuben ever. My meal was fantastic! Cannot wait to go back. Dan was a very personable and attentive server.

This is a fantastic spot for lunch when planing an outing in the Riverbend / Old Coney area. The food and service were high quality and everyone on staff was super friendly. We sat at an interior table – we are old and loud talkers, so on a cool day that was the right spot for us. Recommending Grove Park Grill highly!

This is the first time in a very long time I found something new. I had the goetta new to me and very good. Everything on the menu was very good and the service was excellent. When I go to a restaurant I usually ask for a taste of the wine I plan on drinking. They brought me a taste it was good so I ordered the wine. The presentation of the appetizers and the food was spectacular.

Service was good, but the food was nowhere near worth the price we paid for it. I got the James Parker burger: The meat was tasteless, the goat cheese was bitter and overpowered the rest of the meal. I took one bite and couldn’t handle it, so I scraped off the cheese, and thats when I realized the meat was flavorless. My girlfriend got fish and said it was pretty bland. We went here because of a suggestion by a friend; I think they came for the alcohol, and not the food.
I’d say if you are in the mood to drink and have subpar food then by all means, have at it. I wont be returning.
