I never leave reviews but I absolutely HAD to on this one!! By far, hands down, not even a close second the best meatloaf I’ve ever eaten in my life!! 10/10 Thursdays special is meatloaf and 3 sides of your choice for $10.50!!

Went with my whole family and a first time experience. My sister lives in Chickamauga and has frequented Choos. I must say that it lived up to the hype. We went about 45 minutes prior to closing, I could tell it had been quite a day for the staff, but they were still fantastic. The manager, I mean I assume he was the manager, came over and checked on this a few times and gave us some recommendations to which he was very right. We had the catfish basket, the shrimp basket, pulled pork sandwich, and salad bar with a slew of sides. All of it was amazing but I would say the catfish was the best. The seasoning is top-notch. Also, I loved the hush puppies and the fried okra was fantastic. I definitely recommend. Real hometown,, quaint, family style place.

I stopped Friday evening February 6th to get a three-piece catfish plate double okra and slaw. I was tired I ordered my food. I ordered my fish to be fried hard. I sat and waited 7 minutes or so on my fish which I thought was too soon. They brought the fish plate out to the car I left and came home. The fish was so soggy in the middle I was almost gagging trying to swallow it because it felt like I was eating raw fish with crust. So I called the place back to let them know that I was not pleased. I was not asking for a refund nor was I asking for a new plate. I told the man I live too far to drive back and I just wanted him to know what I experienced with my plate. All he could say was, Well we have never had a problem with our fish before nobody has ever complained. So I said thank you sir and hung up the phone and I just chose to write a review about it. I would never ever go back there to eat raw fish again.

I ordered online with a 12:15 pick up time, and they didn’t start pulling my order until I showed up. 12:35 finally get my food when I should have already been at my kids school for lunch. What’s the purpose of putting a pickup time? The time before, I ordered online and spent 25 minutes waiting in the parking lot after requesting my order at the drive thru. I didn’t get my food until I went inside to ask, and it still took several more minutes to get my food.

We ordered a family feast for 4 for $32 that INCLUDES 3 sides. We were ASKED what sides we wanted and given our options when we got our ticket we were charged $7 additional for 2 of the sides, when we questioned it we were told “oh fried sides are extra” (fries and okra) so NO it does not INCLUDE 3 sides. If there is an upcharge that is all fine and dandy but mention that at the order. So we ordered some BBQ and one side for $32. But ended up paying $51 for “included sides” and some extra BBQ sauce for some dry meat. The taste is fine. But the extra BS charges not explained when ordering is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!

My one year-old granddaughter and I came in today. She loves the food. She even put her spoon down and was eating the rest of it with her hands. It’s safe to say she thoroughly enjoyed it. My killer potato was amazing. The servers could not have been more attentive. All of the ladies had my granddaughter, smiling, and talking to them. They kept coming over and saying how beautiful she is and talking to her. She had the best time. The most important thing when I am dining out is my children and granddaughter being happy. The only issue I had was one with my card. It had nothing to do with the restaurant, but I am sad to say I did not have any cash on me and I was only able to leave a 16% tip.I’m going to come back later and make up for it because our server deserved a lot more than what I was able to leave on my card today. I promise I will be back to take care of it.

Good food. Proportions are even for kids meal and regular food. My wife who had the pork plate got more food than me with a pork sandwich. It tasted good though. They didn’t seem to have any direction when we walked in. Not sure how to dine in until we approached a worker.
