Let me first start by giving a huge shout out to our server, Cara! She is an absolute saint! We, unfortunately, watched the kitchen let the serving staff down table after table. As for the food, I don’t even know where to begin. Two of our well done burgers were under cooked. My medium burger was rare. The onion rings we received looked as if they were fried in weeks old frying oil and were socked in grease with a weird taste. The only thing that was edible was the queso. Oh. And when I received my plate, photo below, it looked as if I got the scraps of the fry bag.
I hate doing reviews like this, but something should obviously be re-evaluate starting with the kitchen.

My son’s hockey team stopped here for lunch in between games, and I was impressed with how well the restaurant handled approximately 35-40 people coming in without a reservation. Initially, it took some time to figure out how to get us seated, which was not unexpected, but even once we were seated, the staff provided great service. The only downfall was that their heat was not working, so we were quite cold. The food was exactly as expected. Thank you for accommodating us!

Wonderful staff, very clean restaurant, temperate and sound levels were great in the dining room. Apps and drinks were amazing. Burger patty itself was super greasy and fell apart in the bun, like, grease soaked through the bun and everything just crumble. Grease aside though it really did taste great, I just wish they would have soaked some of the grease off before they put it on the bun

Busy, expensive, upgraded burger joint.
While the food was delicious, the price added up very quickly for my family of four. I was taken back a bit from the $100+ bill at the end. I mean, we only ordered four burger meals, a small appetizer and one (very tiny) dessert-yikes! Two kids and two adults.
Definitely NOT a place we will take the family again, but we may visit on a date night.

So visited the Altoona location after meny meny years. Couldn’t remember why I didn’t care for this place. After sitting down I remember. Steak fries,really what a cheap low class option.. Couldn’t even order a burger do to that one thing. So order ribs. FYI Red Robin you’re definitely not rib place 100% worse i ever had. Not sure how anyone even eats at such a place. Waste of time,and money.

My family and I got gift cards for Christmas for Red Robin, and decided this past Monday 01/05 we would use them to order out for dinner for the 4 of us. We ordered a set of burgers, 2 different sets of wings, 2 sets of fries, and a chicken sandwich, we live 6 mins away from the restaurant, I arrived on time for pick up, went straight home and when I got home the food was almost Ice Cold. Then the food itself was God awful, the burgers themselves were more like a barely held together meatpies, nothing like real like burgers. The wings were ok but you could hardly taste any flavor anything after having to Re-heat the food, and my wife’s chicken sandwich made her sick for 2 days. I’ve had better tasting and better forming burgers at fast food restaurants,

They need to train their staff better regarding the veterans gift cards. It was too much constant asking from the host to the waitress. Even on our way out “how did the gift card go?” Of course we were going to purchase one (and did!) for our beloved veterans, but give us a chance to relax and eat.

I was with my nephew who just got out of the Marines, was getting him checked in at the VA hospital and we decided to come here for dinner, which I knew he would want to. Love the atmosphere and our waitress was really nice, I’m sorry I don’t know her name.

The first table available was right in front of the door and it was only 20 degrees out so we froze. The waitress we had was not with it all. I ordered a strawberry lemonade and she brings me water. Then as I’m placing my order, she is talking to someone else at the same time and either didn’t hear me or just didn’t choose my option. I asked for no mushrooms as the texture makes me sick… My burger had mushrooms. Meanwhile, my “endless broccoli” kept coming out and everyone else was finished eating by the time my burger came out. Ended up just putting it on a to go box and leaving. Spent like $80 there and was let down. I still left her a tip (small one) cuz I’m not a monster but this was a terrible experience so I’ll just keep going to Applebee’s.
