A clean, airy, and vibrant space, the Well Hung location in Roanoke could easily accommodate more tables, but that would spoil the ambiance. It fits perfectly into a downtown Roanoke location. You can have a high table or a low table and both give you room for your wine flight and appetizers and flat breads. The menu offers more and our server knew it all. I am not a wine drinker so I had a beer; but my companions are wine snobs (to a point) and they enjoyed each glass they had during our dinner. If I worked downtown I would be here pretty often for some of the food. I might even learn to like wine.

Good service and good food! I was however a little dissapointed at my shrimp and grits. I got them “cajun style”, but instead of traditional cajun flavor, they just seemed to be coated in black pepper.

Unbelievable service (everyone was upbeat, jovial, and eager to please). Calming atmosphere. The most delicious food. We ordered two beef short rib entrees, Butterscotch Mousse and peach cobbler. Our server Crystal was top notch, providing the highest quality experience. She didn’t miss a beat. Everything was exactly the way we discussed (I have a broad oral food allergy syndrome so it was not simple). I think this is going to be our “place.” Our go to place when we want a good meal, calming atmosphere and friendly faces. Well done Crystal, the bartender and the server with the heart shaped glasses. Thank you for getting us a table without a reservation. Thank you for a wonderful evening out. We will be back

I will preface this review by saying this was on valentines day, and it was busy. But it seems they were only taking reservations, no walk ins.
The food was good, and really not that expensive for the quality. My only complaint for the food was that it was cold. That kind of leads into the main problem we had.
We had a reservation and admittedly arrived about 15 minutes early. We were seated at a table that they put fake plants up to divide the table to seat 2 parties, which was not a nice experience. We waited a while before seeing our waitress. And then it took forever for our food to get to us. Over all, it was at least 50 minutes from the time we entered the restaurant we had reservations for till I took my first bite. I will give a little leeway since we were 15 minutes early, but the food and plates were cold by the time we got them. It made me think they were sitting for a while before being delivered to us. We did observe other parties that came in after us receive their food first.
I hate to criticize a particular server and won’t name them here. They were really nice, and I don’t believe intentionally causing issues. She was really friendly, but I only really spoke with her two or three times through the entire visit. We were never checked on the entire time. I believe we were seen to get water and give our order. Around 35 to 40 minutes later we got our cold food. Then we got our check. Not once were we asked how our food was, or if there was any issue. When the server came to the other side of the table to take the party seated on the other side of the plant divider, she mentioned she had to get the order in fast because the kitchen was closing, and then proceeded to tell them most items they wanted to order were no longer available. They did have everything I wanted, but that did stand out to me. (I don’t try to eavesdrop, but they were seated at the same table just divided by fake plants on the table.)
Again, our server was nice, the food was good (even if cold) and the atmosphere (apart from really uncomfortable chairs) was good. I am a little curious to try it not on a holiday and write this off as an abnormal day to visit. But I also didn’t think there was so many people that we couldn’t be checked in on more than 3 times across 2 hours.
Overall, we are willing to give them another shot, but we were not impressed with our visit.

My sister and I came to Well Hung for our first drag brunch and had an absolutely amazing time! The food and drinks were top notch, but of course the draw for us was the Disney themed Drag Brunch! It was an amazing show and so much fun!!

Had the BEST time at the drag show brunch at Well Hung Vineyard! The performers were absolutely amazing—so entertaining, funny, and full of energy. The whole place had such a fun, upbeat vibe, and the crowd was really into it.
The food and drinks were great too—definitely recommend the mimosas. Service was friendly, and everything ran smoothly even with a packed house. It was the perfect spot for a girls’ brunch or celebration.
Can’t wait to go back for another show!
