Contoocook Cider Company is a hand crafted micro cidery located at Gould Hill Farm in Contoocook, New Hampshire. Our products are made from some of the 80 varieties of apples grown at the farm, and blended to create unique hard ciders that will please any palate. Cider varieties range from dry to sweet. Top sellers are the Contoocook Blend, Contoocook Cranberry, Fireside Maple and Cherry Bomb. Ciders are available in cans, bottles or growlers.

We didn’t realize there was a full apple orchard with activities here, we thought it was just a hard cider place. It was very crowded when we arrived but they had ample parking without any issue finding a spot. We each ordered a flight of ciders so we had about 8 different ciders to try. We loved them all. My favorite was the blueberry, you could actually taste the fruit and it wasn’t super sweet which I loved. They had some indoor seating and out door seating with picnic tables. They only had a select few of umbrellas, out biggest complaint was we wish they had more because we were baking in the sun. They have a couple of port-a-potties to use and a watercooler and cups. The view of the mountain ranges was amazing and beautiful. We will be back.

Great place for bringing family and friends. The orchards are beautiful and it’s great to be able to pick your own apples. You get a gorgeous view of the mountains in the distance and there’s a bakery on the property. We got the hard cider flights. I really liked the maple cider. They had unique flavors to try. Would recommend the pizza and pretzels here. The staff was friendly and helpful and there’s plenty of picnic tables outdoors to sit at. It was also nice that they had live music. Love this place!

What a wonderful place! We stumbled upon Contoocook Cider Company while apple picking at Gould Hill Farm. The cider was delicious and the staff were very personable and kind. We tasted a bunch of of the ciders and our personal favorites were the redfield, cranberry, ginger – cider with a snap and summer daze.
We left with some cans/growlers to take home. I’m writing this review back at home while drinking a glass! Overall great experience — highly recommend stopping by here!

Outstanding orchard and cidery. A fall afternoon here is quintessential New England. Cider is varied and delicious. Pizzas are dynamite. Live music and views for days. What more could you want?

Great selection of ciders. Tastings are cheap for 4 ciders. Fireside Maple and Wicked Winesap were my favorites. Also have Hould Hill Farm bakery upstairs that you enter from outside. Worth a visit.

Great spot, great cider, pick your own apples and plenty of other locally produced products. The cider tasting room was very nice and new. It is open and features lots of light wood and barrels. The cider company has a nice bar in the corner of the tasing room with samples on tap. Their products were good, I really liked the sparkling cider it was super dry and delicious. You can even take your samples outside to enjoy them while observing the stunning panoramic views. This cidery truly top notch spot, it’s a little off the main road but well worth the drive.

Contoocook cider has a nice variety of delicious ciders. I’ve tried them all and there isn’t one that I won’t have again. The family friendly atmosphere has a beautiful view, good food and fun games to make the perfect day.
