We had the lunch buffet and it was quality food. The selection of dishes isn’t as wide as some buffets, but definitely enough to have real variety for one meal. Every dish was high quality. They had an Indian version of vegetable tempura that was wonderful. Endless naan. Also a sizeable selection of varied sauces and garnishes so you can recreate any dish as you please. The mango lassi is very good and free along with Indian chai tea made with milk and cardamon. The staff is very friendly and they walk around with naan and other food and make sure your glasses are full. We will definitely be back

We love the buffet at Seva! Favorites include butter chicken, naan, tandoori chicken, mango lassi, and rice pudding. It was very crowded today, but the staff efficiently kept everything restocked. Sundays are busy, but it’s absolutely worth it.

Everything was great! The service was warm and welcoming, and the complimentary chai tea was a nice touch. The warm coconut soup is my absolute favorite, and the mango lassi was delicious and refreshing. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.

Based on my first visit, Seva is a family friendly Americanized Indian restaurant with a decent lunch buffet toned down to appeal to the locals. The Tandori fish and chicken are quite good, but the butter chicken and chicken tika masala were mild in spice to the point of a little bland (not bad, but decent). The vegetarian options were generally the more flavorful options and were pretty good. The naan was also little flakier than what I’m accustomed to. Not bad though.
The buffet doesn’t offer a huge variety, but does offers a fair sampling with both vegetarian and non options. I appreciate the inclusion of naan and hot chai in the buffet. The service met expectations, and the staff were friendly. The decor was unique, with hand painted murals.
Based on my first experience, comfortable recommending if looking for a buffet you can take folks with low spice tolerance to.

The service here is so wonderful and friendly. Food always satisfies and the restaurant is always meticulously clean. What else do you want or need? Chef’s kiss.

Overall, the restaurant was okay but nothing to write home about. I had the lunch buffet and it had a decent selection of dishes to choose from including butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, tandoori fish, and even has options for free chai tea and mango lassi during the buffet. The food was alright but it was sweet for my tastes. Service was prompt since waiters seem to take away dirty plates and refill waters almost every time I get a new plate to get additional food on the buffet line. Overall, it’s probably worth it if you’re in the northside of the KC metro, but otherwise it’s not worth driving out of your way to do so.
