I had Mushroom Fricassee followed by Boeuf Bourgenion served with seasonal vegetables of sprouts, carrots, red cabbage and dauphinoise potatoes. It was all delicious. The fruit crumble was tart but served with cinnamon clotted cream to complement it.
Really nicely decorated restaurant including the ladies room, which smelt wonderful with L’Occitane hand products
We ordered the following
French onion soup
Baked Camembert
Beef stroganoff with season veg and garlic potato
Demi Roti lemon and herb with garlic potato
We also ordered Lemon pie, no photo sorry it arrived looking amazing and we divided in.
Food was really good, service 10/10 and the atmosphere was very traditionally France.
Quite a big place on the ground floor, typical looking french restaurant
Bigger very different looking first floor where the toilet is also situated.
Super friendly and knowledgeable staff
Bread on tables and menu choices made
Starters-french onion soup and goats cheese with beetroot
Mains- Duck, fish,Beef burgeon and Lamb Rump
Really tasty food with a big bowl of veg and dauphinois
Choose french wine “yes please”
Quite busy but not to loud or echoing
No room for puds ☹️
Very happy with our choice of restaurant
Great staff. Friendly, efficient and on their ‘A’ game from the front of house right through to the table. Imaginative menu with well prepared dishes. Good wine list. Couldn’t fault it!
