Before setting off on my trip to Thunder Bay, I decided to make a pitstop at Popeyes, primarily because I knew they offered Halal chicken. Little did I know that this visit would turn out to be an unexpected delight.
The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a level of service that exceeded my expectations. The staff was not only friendly but also exceptionally efficient. They made sure to take care of every detail of my order with a smile, setting a positive tone for my dining experience.
The cleanliness of the restaurant also stood out. The environment was impeccably neat and well-maintained, which immediately put me at ease. It’s rare to find a fast-food joint that pays such attention to cleanliness, and it was a refreshing change.
One of the standout features of this Popeyes location was its convenient drive-through service. With my schedule for the trip, this was a blessing. I didn’t have to leave the comfort of my car, yet I received the same exceptional service as those dining inside.
As for the food, I decided to go for the 8-piece chicken meal with a spicy flavor. To my pleasant surprise, it took them just 3-4 minutes to prepare my order. When I bit into the chicken, I was in for a treat. It was piping hot and incredibly flavorful, with a perfect blend of spices. I opted for thighs and legs, and they were juicy and tender.
Not only did I enjoy my meal, but my kids also relished their food, particularly the delectable fries. I paired my meal with a fountain drink, and what made it even better was the offer of unlimited refills.
To top it all off, even the restrooms were spotlessly clean, which is often overlooked but greatly appreciated by customers.
In conclusion, I can’t help but applaud the entire team at this Popeyes location for providing such an outstanding dining experience. Jacque is an absolute sweetheart & Jeff has always provided great service with a smile. They clearly take pride in their work and it’s a nice change from “standard” service. As a former food service worker myself I know it can be difficult to keep up such a great attitude. Certainly a dream team they have working here, we’ll be back for sure! Very slow to even speak to us in the drive through. Waited nearly 20 minutes at the window without them so much as taking my payment or talking to us. Didnt open the window or anything until then. Food still took 10 minutes to get out after paying. Maybe inside service is better. Drive through time sucks. Leaving this review solely because they handed me a QR code and asked me to leave one. Plus side is the chicken sandwiches are pretty great

My daughter absolutely loves this place we’ve been here twice and with any new business it takes a little time to iron out all the kinks…(tables need to be cleaned more often, service counters a little slow, fountain machine is too close to the counter causing a backup, to the side doors don’t work)
I love that you have multiple side items to choose from (corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, baked potato, onion rings, etc.)
There’s lots of seating space!! It’s open and spacious with lots of natural light coming from the windows.

For a busy fast-food restaurant, i like how the staffs and management ensure that the environment is CLEAN and TIDY. The staff named Paras assured that all the tables are properly wiped and clean. The manager, Jeff, was very patient with indecisive customers like us and provided us options we can have and discussed us with daily promos. His work ethics is superb! The customer service is excellent!!! I always love coming back in this branch.
