i’m from st. louis and in st. louis panera is called st. louis bread co so imagine my surprise when i move to nc and its not called that here.. i said eh ok i fell in love with the cinnamon crunch bagel when i was a kid and they got em here so oh well panera it is.
well picture this.
you’re sitting in bed at 11pm and you say man i could really go for a cinnamon crunch bagel and your husband says put an order in for 6:45am and i’ll pick some up for you before work. lovely. good man. ok so you wake up before your toddler for once in your life because you’re so excited for your cinnamon crunch bagel. (you ordered 4) imagine your crushing disappointment when there is not a single crunch on any of the bagels, and but a whisper of cinnamon. on all 4. now, i get it, i’ve worked in the service industry… it’s 6am and you get an order and you think im just gonna give them the worst ones… but the thing is…. no crunch. none. :(.. also now imagine all of this happens to you but you’re also pregnant.
that was my morning. i’m not mad just disappointed. i’m sure the staff is lovely. i’m sure it’s a great location. just disappointed.

So we’ve tried this 2x I ordered the bowl and my wife ordered the cup of soup. Its allegedly 4 oz more for the bowl. Doesn’t really look like it. Just know that you are not getting much more if you upgrade to the bowl….

Our most recent experience at this location was by far the worst. I advise upper management to check their cameras (01/06/2026 @11:20-11:35 AM) Noelle was the assigned cashier and the mannerisms of the so-called “manager” with the bad attitude. It isn’t our fault the employees made a terrible Iced Creme Brulee Latte (which we’ve had before). It tasted like watered down cream!
My wife asked politely for a refund because it was not good. The manager stormed up to provide the refund and after thanking her, she closed the drive thru door and continued to walk off. To which, my wife exclaimed thank you just for her to respond “Yeahh!”. I’ve visited this Panera on many occasions but this level of service is uncalled for. Drop some training on your employees on how to have manners and respect for customers. Difficult customers THAT I can understand, but we did absolutely nothing to you other than politely ask for our money back.

We’ve been getting delicious soups and sandwiches from this location for YEARS. We’ve done curbside pickup, drive thru service and dine in eating; we’ve never been disappointed with any of the food choices (and this was even during COVID). Today we decided to dine in and we were pleasantly greeted by Spencer who not only rang us up but also applied my rewards for a discount on our pick twos. It was refreshing to converse with an actual person instead of a random tablet. Affordable, quick and yummy. Highly recommend.

This morning I order a cheddar turkey sandwich. I requested toasted bread and they didn’t,so I ask nicely again and i think she just put the whole sandwich in the oven cuz the lettuce was bad and no cheese on the sandwich so the taste was terrible.I thought they will change the sandwich but give me same service was rude and bad.

Shelley, “Brianna” is the problem at this location. If she is indeed the store manager, it explains a lot regarding my rating this visit one star. She took this order, but it did not help avoid confusion regarding the pick 2 favs. SHE was confused as to what the menu items are that the customer see. She left entrees off the order and put in what she wanted us to have after ordering $33.00 worth of food, as you know, this didn’t include much and no drink. Which was noted on the regular receipt. We also had to request a regular, receipt, examine the order before leaving and had to return because it was not filled correctly or to our satisfaction. Brianna’s attitude reflected no care or concern about us being dissatisfied because of the confusion she brought to our order, leaving out a main entree and having to return to get the items we ordered originally. Brianna couldn’t care less about customer retention, satisfaction, and correcting her mistakes. Instead of trying to sound friendly Brianna, you should try being efficient and effective. This was a very unsatisfying experience at this location with Brianna. Shelley, please advise when you have replaced Brianna with someone who pro Panera Bread, takes accountability, responsibility, is efficient and effective in her role as a “Store Manager “. Again, this was an unnecessarily frustrating experience and made the expensive food, not good. Shelley, Brianna not only is clueless when it comes to the menu, she’s oblivious to “giving a treat for your troubles ” as stated on the receipt. I even noted to her about her lack of empathy for customers satisfaction and her attitude was not concerned, hence I asked for the manager and she was the manager and requested a regional manager and got your name. Sincerely, Dissatisfied Paying Consumer.

Well, it was dirty to the point of not really wanting to eat there.
The food was okay, as in meh its food.
There was food on the ground, under shelves, etc.
Could have been just this location. I’ve been to other locations that were at least cleaner.
Makes one wonder about how often they get visited by the county.
But the coffee was good.

Multiple complaints unfortunately. Got handed a spoon with someone’s food on it, spoon was dirty. My order was made incorrectly. Didn’t buzz me when the food was remade. So food was warm. There was barely any clean dishes to use. Ruined my appetite had to take it home

This is probably the worse Panera location. The wait is absolutely horrendous for a drive thru with only 2 cars in front of me, and having to wait longer than 25 minutes to receive my order of a single toasted bagel and a smoothie, in which I still had to wait once getting to the window 20 minutes later. Also, the food and drinks are hit or miss. I’ve noticed a few Paneras in other states closing down after decades of being open…im hoping this location gets it together before the powers that be decide this location is ultimately not worth keeping open any longer….. just by looking at the reviews, it’s coming..
