EDITED: ROSETTA is 1000% the reason that I’m editing this review. I came today with a group again and everything was absolutely perfect thanks to the amazing service we received. Rosetta was attentive, kind, patient, and gave excellent input regarding the food, plus she smelled lovely, which is always nice. The food was fantastic also and was actually brought to the table by the manager. After the meal, both are amazing server and the manager stop by our tables again to check on us. Best service I have ever received in this particular Applebee’s and I would definitely suggest the company doing something special for both of these wonderful individuals.

So I ate at the restaurant for lunch with a group of people today 10/31 and everything was fantastic (aside from the entree being brought out before we were able to even take a bite of the appetizer). So I decided to order To Go this evening on my way to work a 12 hour shift. I ordered the Ultimate Trio appetizer: Crispy pickle fries, Brew Pub Pretzels, Double Crunch Shrimp and for my 3 sauces chose House Made Ranch and 2 Beer Cheese. What I got was HALF a container of beer cheese, one ranch, and Mexi-Ranch. For an entree I ordered a Southwest Chicken Bowl and PAID $2.50 EXTRA for Chipotle Lime Shrimp, PAID $0.65 for EXTRA pico, asked for EXTRA lime and EXTRA tortilla strips. I RECEIVED a Chicken Bowl with NO SHRIMP and NO PICO and NO LIME…even though it was clearly labeled on the container.

I took my wife here for hee birthday. The food here was really good. I had a ribeye and it did not disappoint. I was very surprised. This place has really upped its game. Great service and good food means a great time.

Fried fish was overly fried and pasta needed more sauce. Waitress listened and worked with us about the food. I think her name was Mia…..she was kind & attentive. It wasn’t really busy on a Saturday night after 9 p.m. Facilities were clean and others at the table enjoyed their meal.

Ordered curbside pickup and the food was supposed to be ready at 7:27pm, I pulled in the spot and waited at the curbside pickup parking. There was employees walking around that had to see my car waiting for my order. After waiting over 20 minutes I walked inside and got my food that was ready. Why do you have curbside pickup as an option if the employees don’t bring it out. The whole point of getting curbside is not having to go inside. This is not the first time this has happened to me but it is the first review I’ve written about this issue. If this keeps happening expect more bad reviews about this.

i ordered online, and the person who gave me my food was awesome. very nice. food itself was good, except for the rice, which was not cooked fully. the portion sizes are very small, especially since everything in the photo (plus the spinach and artichoke dip) costed $30.

The food was awesome. The cheeseburgers and the grilled chicken sandwich were huge. All were cooked perfectly. The music was a little loud but not horrible. I liked our waitress but she was distracted during our visit, busy talking to someone in the bar. She asked if I would like mayo for my sandwich and I waited about 10 mins before she brought it back. It was not busy when we were in there. She also asked if we wanted a to drink and my SIL said yes. She went to get it and stopped to chat. Never did get the drink so we just left.

Do not eat here until they get their restaurant in order!! Heavy food contamination!! Posting photos (not the highest resolution because I have an older phone) so that no one thinks this is a hoax. I am disgusted. No….I am BEYOND disgusted and very disappointed with how Applebee’s staff handled this. It won’t let me post the screenshot of my call log, but I will certainly be emailing everything to corporate. I have never given anyone or any establishment a one star review, but this is well worth it. Specs on plate should not be there!

Have you ever had crunchy ranch dressing from Applebee’s? No? Neither had I until Saturday, June 7th!
Dined in, had a good time. Flies were a nuisance, as we were seated at a table near a window. There were four dead flies on the window sill and three living ones flying around that were there to stay. Ok, no big deal. That’s summer in the Carolinas, I guess? My eight year old and I love dipping sauces. We consumed a bunch of ranch. Ordered the A.Y.C.E. shrimp with fries. I asked for the fries and shrimp to be made well done, so they’d be extra crispy. My water had something floating in it, so I didn’t drink it. I never asked our server for another one, because I could see how busy she was. I didn’t want to bother her and I was fine with no drink. We ate at about 1pm, checked out at 1:45pm, as seen on the pictured receipt. At 9pm I went to eat my leftovers. I’d taken four ranches and two barbecue sauces home. Just the small sauce ramekins. Reheating food in a microwave makes it soft. So no more crunchy fries or shrimp. This is relevant because when I felt something crunchy on my tongue, I spit it out. I hadn’t chewed the french fry, so when I pulled it out of my mouth, there the crunchy thing remained. Larvae, bug casings, maggots……… Take your pick. I worked as an exterminator, so I know exactly what I’m looking at. Immediately, I started sifting through the ranch to make sure that I was right. Low and behold, the ranch was extremely contaminated. I admit, I am quite embarrassed that I didn’t notice the contamination in the restaurant. But my son and I were engaging in converwith my husband. Plus I was holding my newborn and just trying to eat as much as I could before he woke up. I never would have felt the flies in the ranch because I asked for my food to be a specific texture. I want to be clear: these are not grains of rice or seeds(!)

Now, I’m writing this review because here is the greater issue: I immediately called Applebee’s once I found the bugs. I spoke with Caitlin and told her, “There are bugs in the ranch. I recommend that you guys throw away the remainder of the ranch!” Zero attitude in my tone of voice. I wasn’t rude. Nothing. Only concern for myself and all the other people that have eaten here! I also never asked to be reimbursed or compensated. Her response was, “Um ok. Thank you. Have a good night.” A 30 second phone call once I got past the automated greeting. I didn’t feel at peace and suspected they may have thought this was a prank call. So 5mins later, I called back and asked for the manager’s email address so I could send them photos of their disgusting product. I would have driven back to the restaurant with the ranch, but I live 1hr3mins from the restaurant. We were just passing through Shelby. Caitlin answered the phone again and asked Pam if she had an email address. Pam, who I am now assuming is the manager..?, gets on the phone and I tell her the same thing and ask for an email address. Pam states, “There’s an email address on the bottom of the receipt!” and disconnects the line…….I’m not understanding the employees disrespectful and lackadaisical response to such a report. I have managed four restaurants and have never once hung up on a customer. I’m concerned because I do not believe that they took my warning seriously and continued to serve the ranch. Why would I have any reason to believe otherwise? I asked for the managers email address so that I didn’t have to contact corporate. Mistakes happen and this did not have to be escalated.

Waited atleast 10 minutes after being seated. Already looked thru menu haven’t even asked our drinks. We already knew what we wanted to eat by then. No one looked at us. We walked out. No one said anything to us leaving the restaurant. Very sad.

I’m not a person that ever comes and leaves bad reviews you can go on my page and see but I went with my family and we don’t go out to dinner that much so when we go, we like to enjoy it and for one, there was only one server doing the whole restaurant They kept forgetting stuff and they serve us a steak that was nothing but fat and we had to get the manager, which I don’t do that either. And then the they didn’t even know that they have ice cream sundae on the kid menu and so I was like oh can we get a sundae and you’re like oh we don’t serve that and I was like it’s right here on the menu and this is the manager and I was like OK well there says right here hot fudge or strawberry and she was like OK well we can give you some fresh strawberries if that’s OK and I was like yes please. we don’t have any of the other stuff… oh OK well, can we get the ice cream with the strawberries. Thank you. They came back with somebody else. The bartender came and handed us ice cream and was like oh we’re out of strawberries and then just left. I can’t say the only thing that was actually good was the appetizer we had got the mixed platter with all the stuff and I’m pretty sure all that stuff was frozen and then I ordered mac & cheese for my almost 2-year-old and it looked like some mac & cheese that came out of the box for a $1. My water with lemon was good lol … just wanted to worn people not to go…… we spent over $60 next time I’m going to longhorns

It took 45 min to receive our food. The first waiter was in no rush to even get our drink order we waited 10 minutes at the table we were sat at then we moved to the bar. The bartender was amazing to say the least. Applebee’s she deserves a raise she had been there since 7am and it was 9pm when we left. The food was not good at all but the drinks were good. All you could hear sitting at the bar was a lady in the back screaming at the wait staff and kitchen staff.
