After being closed for 3 years due to a fire, we are finally up and operating again. However, like many other businesses, we are HIGHLY understaffed! My small team of employees are working overtime every week so please be patient with us. If for some reason we didn’t meet your expectations, please ask to speak to me or my sister in law, Susie and we will make it right vs going online and bashing our reputation that we have worked so hard and so many years for. It is very discouraging and frustrating to find out about a bad experience online when we were not given the opportunity to fix the problem. We truly want every customer to have a great experience and to leave our restaurant happy so please give us that chance! Thank you. -Amy

This was my first time visiting Thig’s BBQ House, and I was thoroughly impressed. The restaurant was spotless, well-organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home.
I ordered the club sandwich, which came with bacon, ham, turkey, lettuce, and tomatoes—all incredibly fresh and flavorful. My husband had the brisket sandwich with fries and coleslaw, and the brisket was cooked to perfection with amazing seasoning. We also tried a dessert, and it was the perfect sweet ending to our meal.
Overall, I highly recommend Thig’s BBQ House. The wait time was short, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Give it a try—you won’t be disappointed!

I should really know better. I stopped by and saw the smoker on the side so thought why not after driving 30 minutes out of my way and wanted local BBQ. I really wanted brisket and was informed they ran out. It was around 6:30 pm so it’s feasible. So I decided to try the ribs special with Mac n cheese and Cole slaw. The ribs were over cooked and didn’t taste like that nice Smokey flavor. The Mac n cheese was over cooked and not el dente. The slaw really surprised me as I have never seen it so finely chopped but it was really good. The hush puppies were a little too crispy. Unfortunately not a place I will venture back to.

This place is DIVINE.

Been coming to Thig’s since 2009, and we moved away right around when the old building burned down. It’s gotten all done up now, but it’s still the same little gem at heart.

You come in and feel so welcomed, and then you get to eat a meal that feels like home. The brisket just falls apart in your mouth, the pulled pork’s perfect, fried chicken’s juicy… The hush puppies are crispy happiness. The banana pudding is a hug. Wash it all down with a sweet tea and you’re SET. We moved away from the area and make a 2-hour trek for this little treat!

Had a wonderful working dinner tonight. Arrived at 4 PM opened my laptop and got to work. Ordered a great three meat dinner plate with ribs, chicken barbecue collards and macaroni and cheese. The waitress was so wonderful polite and helpful. The booth was nice and roomy and I was able to get so much done. Will definitely be back.

Just like to say that the hospitality is amazing 100% top notch even though we were getting a to-go order the host made us feel like we were there and had been coming for years this is the very first time that I have ever gotten there he was very informative and let me know of all good choices in what we could and could not have. We’ll definitely be coming back as much as possible when I’m in the area. Again definitely 10 out of 10 top notch service and great quality food

This is the first time I have ever eaten from here. They have some of the best tasting food I’ve ever eaten. They had our order ready and totally correct. The menu is very large and I will definitely try something new next time.

We stopped at Thig’s while driving thru Richlands. We got fried pickles, lumpia, BLT w2cheese, sliced brisket and pulled pork. Everything was delicious. My favorite was the NC style pulled pork. It had a nice twang to it. We left stuffed! The service was very friendly and the restaurant was quaint. We’d definitely go back to try more items!

** Responding to owner. Thanks for the reply. I’ve had brisket all over the country, and smoke all kinds of meats myself. We’ve ordered takeout at least 8 times since moving here 18 months ago. First order was a brisket plate. Thought it was fatty with no ring or smoke flavor. The second time was very dry. Third time I didn’t recognize the cut and was disappointed. That was about 6 months ago. Have not ordered brisket since.
I’m rooting for you. You are 2 miles from my house, and brisket is practically a 2nd religion. I’m very glad to hear this is a priority. Best of luck!

Not a fan of the brisket, sadly. Missing smoke ring, not much smoke flavor and cuts don’t look like brisket. Pulled pork is really good, tho.
This is the closest restaurant to my home and I want it to be outstanding! Folks are friendly, prices are fair, selection is great and food is generally very good. Work on the brisket!

Don’t get the brisket. Piece of horse leather. Very little flavor. I’ve ate better brisket at gas stations in my travels. Very clean place. Nice atmosphere and the servers were very friendly. With all that said this place ain’t got no business cooking briskets.

Met here for a business lunch… nice clean place somewhat out of the main part of town. Looked like they had quite a few menu options – I tried their pulled pork platter and it was quite delicious. Prices weren’t too bad either. Would definitely stop again if on the area
