This place was great!! My husband and I hit lake Michigan at Washington Park and then were looking for good tacos in Michigan City IN. Muchos Mas had good reviews and the food looked great, so we gave it a shot.
From the moment we walked in we knew this place was different, better.
Suzy, the owner, was working the cash register and did not hesitate to explain the menu and give us her favorites list as well as describing the vegetarian and vegan friendly offerings. Think Mexican but more California style.
We went for Muchos Quesabirria plates and we’re not disappointed!! There was so much delicious roast beef with that yummy sauce!! Each taco was like 3 regular sized tacos. Plus fresh chips and a salsa bar!! Oh so good.
We will definitely be coming back here to try other options and recommend you do too!

One of the best places to eat in Michigan City! Very friendly staff and the food is so good. My favorite item on the menu is the Street Corn Nacho with Chicken. Flavor is on point. They also have a fresh salsa bar inside.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! ❤️ We ordered meals for 16 people, they had it ready for pickup in under 30 minutes, and everyone raved about how good the food was. Plus, the service is amazing!

Decent food. The meat quality for the steak tacos was excellent. Seasoned nicely. The portions are very reasonably sized. Bathrooms were clean, and had a nice lit candle on a table. But the whole Cali vibe crap was where they lost me.

Pictures are obviously mid meal. We were immediately greeted and welcomed. Great recommendations were made. Had a seafood burrito, quesadilla, beef tacos and pork tacos. Pork was tender and seasoned perfectly. Burrito was great and had it smothered with all the things. Our kids had the taco and quesadilla and loved them. Highly recommend. I was suggested by a family at the beach who was finishing up a lunch of tamales and they didn’t steer me wrong
