Absolutely amazing experience at Buddha Ruksa in West Seattle. The crispy chicken was outstanding perfectly cooked with incredible flavor and texture. We also had the green beans and the Khao Soy which were both incredible and full of rich authentic flavor. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. To finish it off we had the fried banana for dessert and it was the perfect sweet ending to an already fantastic meal. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the service matched the quality of the food. This is easily one of the best Thai restaurants we have been to in Seattle. Highly recommend and I will definitely be coming back.

Had very high hopes for this place. It was a complete disappointment, worst Thai place we’ve ever been to. Not even exaggerating.
The pad see ew had overcooked, broken and mushy noodles. The flavor was bland and flat, no usual Thai-style fiery wok flavor they should have.
The crispy garlic chicken (meant to be their most popular dish) was extremely dry and flavor just tasted like burnt chicken.

THE PANANG CRISPY DUCK. All I have to say is this place is bomb. It should be 5 stars to me. The atmosphere, the service, the food. You couldn’t ask for a better place.

I mean.. wow. Really so good. Multiple people recommended this restaurant and we finally made it. Im very excited that its only 4 minutes away from home lol. The food was really really good… worth a 30 minute wait for a table. The portions fed us for 2 days worth of dinner. The flavor was great in everything. My wife got the crispy garlic chicken… so tasty. It’s only a large plate of chicken so I would get a side of veggies or something. We got steamed noodles. I got the pad pong karee.. very good. Got a side of rice and curry with it as well. The place itself is kinda small for the amount of business they do.. so it was a little loud. But service was great. And the prices for the portions was totally worth it. The Lychee martinis hit the spot !

Been enjoying this establishment for well over a decade and it’s great to be able to continue to do so. In an era where prices are increasing and portions are decreasing at many restaurants I’m happy to report that Buddha Ruksa is holding true to their day-one values. Living in Kirkland these days but happy to make the trek to ensure an excellent experience rather than take a risk elsewhere. The bartender was extremely cordial and told us about some upcoming specials that sounded really good. Thus we’re going to have to come back very soon. Favorites here include the crispy garlic chicken along with traditional staples. Very unique and delicious! Thank you.

We are a family of 5 (two teenagers, one 8yr old) & there was something for all us of. I did some research on yelp & social media and luckily found this gem not too far from our Air BNB. Do yourself a favor and try it! Locals and travelers! Literally THE best Thai restaurant we have ever had in our travels. Their crispy garlic chicken was out of this world. Quick 7-10 minute wait for a party of 5 on a Friday evening but even if there was a long wait seriously worth it and this will be on our list of must visits again when we are in town. Staff are also all wonderful, attentive and so welcoming. Even on a busy dinner night we didn’t feel rushed and service was not compromised at all. 10/10

The service was excellent and very attentive. We ordered the pad see iew and the popular crispy garlic chicken. Both dishes were delicious—the chicken had great flavor and a nice amount of crisp but did taste a little burnt. The pad see iew also had great flavor, evenly cooked noodles, but the beef was a bit tough.

Really good Thai food in west Seattle. Every dish was delicious. The crispy garlic chicken didn’t taste like Thai but was really good. Our favorites were the crab meat fried rice and the beef salad.
We came on a weekday for dinner without a reservation was able to get a table for two. The service was attentive too.

Solid flavor, but 0 attempt at plating. Good portions. Street parking only. No online ordering just call in or dining.

The food is really really good, so flavorful.
Crunchy garlic chicken is the much try ( i mean i would love to try everything in the menu but keep come back to this)
The pork belly salad ( Yum Moo Grob) is very fresh and the pork still crunchy in the sauce.
They got really busy sometimes so it would be hard to place orders over the phone and wait time to pick up up to 1 hour
I always ordered to-go but they will be still crunchy after 15mins drive
