This is Waffle House #1148 and wow, what a great Waffle House it is! You cam get delicious waffles, hashbrowns, and other delicious food 24/7. It is very conveniently located right next to the United States Postal Service, so if you ever finish business with the brave and aazing USPS employees of Ruther Glen, you can stroll over and fill up your tummy with deliciousness. The staff are all very friendly and hard working. And wow dod the waffles taste amazing! You should definitely try Waffle House #1148, some of the best waffles in all of Caroline County, VA are served here!

This was my third time giving Waffle House a try. The first two visits left me a little disappointed with the food, but this time I modified my order and chose something different, everything turned out perfectly! I forgot to include a pic of my fried hard waffle which excellent.
Our server, Cheyenne, was incredibly sweet and made the experience even better. The location itself was very clean, and the atmosphere was relaxed, which made dining in comfortable and stress-free.
I loved being able to pick songs without competing with a pre-set playlist whereas other location Smithfield . Overall, I’m really glad I WH another chance, it definitely changed my opinion.
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the water had a sour taste. I later found out it may have been from the sulfur powder they use not being fully dissolved. We then opted for bottled drinks.

I went at midnight and they said we dont have any gravy and biscuits. (Its on the menu) I ordered a waffle, grits (more like paste) and bacon so salty i couldn’t eat one piece. I have been before and it was great food. Im not sure why the food was so bad this last time.

Fast service. Eggs overdone, toast cold. Steak overdone. Nicely cooked bacon. Orange juice expensive but worth it, great fresh taste. Lots of waffle choices. Great serving sizes.Recommend the waffle bowl. Staff friendly, a little distracted. Plenty of seating. Rest room clean. Easy access from main roads. Handicapped parking and accessible.

I just left this place. This could be a long list of grievances, so I’llsay this, Last time it was the grits, this time it’s grits and waffle. I’m sure they want us in and out, but stop pre cooking/preparing the stuff before customers order it. This is not the first time I’ve seen this. I’ve bragged about this location and it’s food. Today it’s try a different location or don’t come in wee hours .$17 wasted, I think I’m done with waffle house. FOR NOW

I arrived and did not get my food for at least 45 minutes. There was one worker making food and he broke a plate and then took a very alarmingly long time to clean and start making food. The staff was not helpful rarely asked if we needed anything and didn’t check on us while we waited. We were missing items when it was given to us and nobody even tried to get it to us quickly when they realized. No accommodations. Foods all came out at seperate long intervals so we all had to wait. The atmosphere was not where near welcoming at all the workers were rude. Nobody greeted us or acknowledged us when we were there. They treated everyone around us with more respect and got to them quicker and we were there first. I felt unwelcome and unwanted. The whole place was dirty and unsanitary. Do NOT recommend going here ever. Go to Dennys across the street.
