Nice comfortable place with very good food. We got the Napoli pizza and an antipasto salad on this visit. The pizza was very good with a slightly thick, chewy crust, the salad was also good but overpriced for what we got. Service started out great but then we got forgotten for awhile. There is outdoor seating and a separate bar in the building. There is also an alcove which would be great for parties of up to 12, and a separate banquet room. We’ve come here four times and will be back again.
The service was better the last two times. Pictured is the Napoli pizza and the meat lovers pizza.

We ordered two entrees and a large house salad to go. The salad was $8.99 and was very basic. The lasagna was ok at best. I didn’t care for the sauce they use. My wife’s chicken penne needed a lot. She added more capers (there were very few to start with), some cream and lemon juice. Then she was able to enjoy some of it. Overall, I don’t recommend this place. Maybe the pizza is good. Who knows. The total was over $44 which I thought was excessive considering what we got.

We had a wonderful day and wanted to wind down with a good meal but to shop local. I had wanted to stop here before and just did not. I read reviews about this restaurant before going and was just hoping for the best as not all reviews were very good at all.
My opinion! The ambiance of the updated restaurant was very nice.
Our waitress was quick to help us order. A pleasant young woman. She did not hover but she did take very good care of us.
We ordered the stuffed mushrooms. They came covered in a pink sauce with plenty of cheese on top.
Chicken Piccata and Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo were our entree’s.
The food was all served warm and was cooked as expected. We were pleased with our choice on this Sunday evening. I am glad we went and am grateful to have Italiano’s Capriccio here in Azle.

Damn this place was so good! Get the stuffed mushrooms then dip the complimentary bread in the extra sauce soooo good. Great service and food.

They started serving breakfast a few weeks ago. Good selection of breakfast items at a reasonable price. Food and coffee are great and we’ll be coming back. They allow dogs on their wonderful patio.
Update, 6 days later. Wanted to have breakfast here again because of the great coffee and was still very pleased with our breakfast. The employees here are wonderful.

Pro tip: order your pizza with light/easy on the sauce. It comes out wonderful every time!! I’m originally from New York and as most know my home state is known for its great pizza. Capriccio may not be New York pizza but it’s the best I’ve taste in all the places I’ve tried here in Texas since moving here 5 years ago. I have also experienced great customer service here and the ambience is quite relaxing.

AJ and Allen were great. The food was very tasty. That bread will make you eat way too much. We couldn’t even eat our deserts at the restaurant. Had to take them back to the hotel. I had the Shrimp Scampi with the linguine and wine sauce. The flavors were very well put together. My son had the chicken and shrimp capriccio. That pink sauce was the perfect mix of their marinara and Alfredo sauces. My beautiful wife enjoyed the perfect manicotti. Later, back at the hotel, our deserts were absolutely devine. My cannoli was so yummy. My son’s tiramisu was quite tasty. My wife ordered the seasonal favorite lemon chello. She said it was scrumptious. The ambiance was very friendly and inviting. The staff were all very welcoming. Lots of TV’s available for sports and other stuff. I joked about them having an authentic Italian grandmother in the kitchen cooking the delicious food and they said it was a grandfather instead. Lol

So I tried a small-town Azle Italian restaurant for breakfast this morning and got what I pretty much expected.
I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs with hashbrowns and a biscuit. I did eat a majority of the food, but there just wasn’t anything special about anything on my plate that would say ….. hurry back, I HAVE to try this again. Probably a one and done place for me.
So first of all, the service. I was the only customer in the entire restaurant when it opened at 730am on a Sunday. Super friendly folks and was stopped and talked to by 3 different people… I felt very welcomed!
When I didn’t need anything, someone was talking to me and asking if everything was ok, when I needed a refill there wasn’t anyone to be found and when I was finished, pretty much the same thing.
Overall the food was average at best, under seasoned, and most of it was just frozen food cooked quickly in a fryer or oven. This is something that I could do at home.
I would say overall this is not a bad option for a small town restaurant, but not in my top 3 options to grab breakfast here for sure especially for the price…..$ 23 with tip

If you think the dinners are good here they are now serving breakfast. And it DOES NOT disappoint . Highly recommend the Benedict. The chicken and waffles were great, too. The gravy is delicious.

It is kind of hard to get in and out due to traffic and construction going on but the food was good and the inside was nice!
We sat in the bar area and that was our fault. The person who has to serve the booths by the bar is the bartender, and she was not very happy to serve a booth vs working the bar and that’s understandable. If you are planning to dine in, go to the separate area away from the bar.
She seemed like she was super happy and having a good time at the bar with those buying drinks
The food was soo good though and she did refill waters and was quick!
I got the Stromboli, my mom got the chicken piccata and my friend got the chicken cacciatore. All of the meals were great!
I would eat here again, but seat away from the bar for a server rathan than bar tender having to service the booth.
