This was the second time we’ve visited this location in the last two weeks, and we thought it would be better this time, but unfortunately it wasn’t. Last time we had a large online order, gave 3 hours notice and still ended up waiting 1/2 hour for our food. This time it was for 8 people, again with ample notice, and we waited 45 minutes after the pickup time. They had put our desserts out on the counter first so by the time they were packaged the pie had totally melted. Our chicken salad sandwiches were slapped together so badly, with hardly any filling, and our ham and chicken had the tiniest little bit of chicken on it. Just unacceptable. Both visits we had food missing and incorrect as well. We usually love Kneaders and have had great experiences at other locations, but this West Valley location just can’t handle getting orders correct or on time. We will go out of our way to order at other locations from here on out.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Kneaders in West Valley, Utah, for years, often choosing it as my go-to spot for a healthier meal option. However, after my most recent experience, I can confidently say I will not be returning.
During my visit, my husband and I ordered the combo meal, totaling $18.06. We handed over $20.06 to receive $2 in cash back. The cashier, Bree, accidentally dropped the change, acknowledged her mistake, and apologized. But when she handed us our change, she shorted us a few cents, returning only $1.94 instead of the full $2. When we asked why she didn’t just pick up the dropped change, she simply apologized again and shut the window.
Unfortunately, the experience didn’t improve from there. When we arrived home, our sandwich was practically inedible—it was so hard that it felt like a display model rather than freshly made food. Frustrated, I called the store, only to discover that Bree was actually the manager. Her dismissive attitude made it clear that she already knew why I was calling, and there was little point in addressing the issue any further.
Spending $20 on ONE meal isn’t cheap, and I’ve always considered Kneaders a good choice for healthier eating options in the area. But after this disappointing experience, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere—Capriotti’s next door is now at the top of my list.

The fresh bread and pastries are excellent! The sandwiches and soups are very tasty. I’ve visited them a couple times and plan to do so again. The staff is very friendly and helpful the service is fast and efficient. I recommend Kneaders 100%

I went through the drive-thru on 2/24 a Tuesday night at 8:51PM. I ordered a turkey bacon avocado salad. They said “they’re out of everything to make the salad.” I said okay, can I get a turkey sandwich? They said they were out of the ingredients for a sandwich as well, then as I drove off they put their closed sign on and shut off all the lights. I can’t help but wonder if they made up an excuse to not have to take my order. Very disappointed and I’m not sure if will return to this location. Do better.

Christian, Manager is a very unique person. He is excellent with us the customer, great customer service, and a top notch manager. The way he manages employees just observing is great! We enjoy seeing him. Please share this with him. He is very valuable and has great management skills. 110% he gives to the customer.

This is my favorite location. The staff here is absolutely amazing. Leah has been my go to for customized gifts and has been able to work with my budget whether it was for a funeral, holiday gifts, celebration, everything. I believe the young man who may be one of the leads or the manager and every staff member I have met over the last few years remembers me whenever I step into the store. I used to be able to walk over but since I was transferred to another property, I definitely miss coming here frequently. This location has one of the BEST staff members I have ever encountered at any Kneaders I’ve been too.

Unfortunately, I have to change what was previously 5 stars with absolutely no complaints, to a 1 star (it’d be 0 if I could). I have been eating Kneaders for years and have never had any reason to complain until today. I understand that everything is more expensive these days and have never had an issue paying so much for a sandwich. But when there is so little turkey on a turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich that I can’t even spread it out to cover HALF of the sandwich, that is ridiculous! The first bite I took had ZERO meat in it. Because sometimes that happens, I took a second bite. That also had zero meat…. I had to shred the tiny bit of turkey and spread it out on half of the sandwich, just to be able to eat it. There was also only about 1/3 of the usual sauce, and the bread was hard, dry, and stale, as if it had been sitting out all week. My wife’s sandwich situation was even more dire than mine. Hers had about 1/2 the meat mine had, and the meat had an odd color and taste. If I was in a position where I could have returned it for a refund, I would have! Guess Kneaders is off the “rotation” of edible food….

Went to get a sandwich, turkey on sourdough thru the drive up before grocery shopping on Saturday 1/3/26. The meal I received was so disappointing. Mayo on on 1/4 of the bread and not enough to try and spread to the rest. Bread seemed day old, definitely not fresh. Turkey was thrown on with giant chunks, and it was dry and flavorless. Zero care in how the food was assembled or the quality. I also got a large diet soda, the meal cost almost $15 for something that a gas station woulf have done better. I can’t say I will be coming back to Kneaders after this.

I ordered online delivery. It took the restaurant 35 minutes to make two soup bowls and a sandwich. I ordered a French dip which I’ve ordered at least 25 times over the years. I received a half sandwich that was poorly packaged so the French dip spilled all over the container. The sandwich was so soggy that I couldn’t even pick it up without it falling apart. It’s disappointing to see what’s happened to this location over the years because it used to be a go-to for my family. We will not be returning anymore. Save your money and go somewhere else.
