I try few starters and the goat cheese pancakes whice was perfect way to end this meal with espresso.
The place itself very pretty so I promise to myself to comeback and sit inside and try other dishes!
The service was very helpful and kind i find the whole experience very pleasant
Coming in from the wind and the rain, the Copper Clam was very homely and all lit up with fairy lights, candles and obviously Christmas decor. Very welcoming!!
We ordered a couple of starters, olives (by the far the most delicious olives I have ever had), Moules Marinier, 1/2 a Lobster, soup of the day and these cute little pastry things, of course some scallops.
Beautifully presented dishes and service with a joke and a smile. Unfortunately the chef was married!
We were seated upstairs in the arched window overlooking the beach and were lucky enough to see the beautiful sunset before we left the restaurant.
The interior is cosy and nicely decorated, the service was friendly and attentive and the food was superb!
Highly recommend the monkfish with houmous, the scallops and the Portuguese cataplana.
Overall an outstanding experience!
My all time favourite is seafood platter. And monkfish with hummus and mango sorbet is my new favourite with its refreshing flavour.
Staffs are super helpful too.
I will definitely go there again for special family and friends gathering.
We had the seafood platter, two small plates consisting of the cabin monkfish and the brill sausage, absolute taste sensations.
Would highly recommend
We started with the Tuna Sashimi tart, had Scallops and the Beef and Prawn Pie from the small plates, and the Moules Mariniere and Fish of the day as mains.
It was all excellent, but the small plates were probably the highlight, both being really rich in flavour and generous portions for the price.
Washed down with a bottle of Bolney Bubbly, which at £59 is reasonably priced for Sussex Sparkling.
Direct views of the sea if you request a window seat.
Service was exactly as I like it, relaxed and friendly.
