Good food and great service. Took my grandkids here for dinner and everyone enjoyed their meal. One child had the Papas Locas, French fries topped with cheese sauce and ground beef, and loved it. The other had chicken strips and liked them. I had the Asado De Rancho, steak in house made red sauce, and it was really good. The chips and salsa are good as well, all around enjoyable meal. The service was excellent and everyone is nice.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. The food was amazing. The service was perfect and the drinks were wonderful and fun. Dessert was also great! The top shelf margaritas and the pina coloda were excellent.

Absolute great place! Vicky was so sweet & kind & attentive, we had to revisit, during our short stay! The manager, Monica, remembered us the next evening & welcomed us back! Such great hospitality! Such a wonderful out of town experience…bathroom’s are beautiful as are the people & drinks

My boyfriend and I celebrated 1 year together earlier this month. To celebrate, we decided to try El Rancho Grande for the first time ever. Neither of us had it before. It was a wonderful experience! It made our anniversary truly something special.
The staff are all extremely friendly. They check on you often to make sure everything is good and that you have everything you need. The prices are fair considering the generous portions they give you. The food is hot and beyond delicious. To us, the complimentary chips and salsa was a surprise, and they were delicious. The alcoholic drinks are done right, they actually have a good amount of alcohol in them and aren’t watered down. Their margaritas are to die for. Also, their strawberry daiquiri is made with fresh strawberries, and is absolutely delicious. We will definitely be coming here again. Thank you for the great experience!

I was quite surprised. It was a very comfortable restaurant. It had a soft, comfortable atmosphere feel to It, the food was great, the service was great, and the prices was what really surprised. They were very reasonable when you would expect them to be on the higher side, but they weren’t. 4 of us ate for $60 and two of us had steak plates. It was good and I left stuffed. I would recommend this place to anyone. I would not be surprised if they start popping up all over.

Monica and the entire staff at El Rancho Grande are simply amazing! I grew up working restaurants and I’ve been all over the world so I know a little about the business. And by the way it’s not easy but appreciate the team here and the top notch effort they give every time! I’ve had authentic Mexican cuisine in Mexico and can honestly say this restaurant rivals many of those and transcends the experience because of the extra effort given by the team. Also, Having lived in Italy for 6 years I have had some of the best food in the world but this restaurant, El Rancho Grande, is a true gem in Middletown and it’s truly our “Go To” for Mexican cuisine. We appreciate the staff here and they are truly like our extended family and much more than just a restaurant we dine at now and then. When we’re here it feels like home and the food is out of this world. And that’s what keeps us coming back! My wife Teresa and I love the food, atmosphere and the service. It’s the total package.
