A fun setup!

Our first time at this location. We were seated upstairs. Was definitely a little snug for our party, but food was amazing as always with Primanti. My only complaint was that we may have been overlooked a little, not being on the main floor. Drinks took a bit to get refilled. Other than that, a nice experience.

Lunch, dinner, dessert and catering offered. Counter and table service. Credit and debit cards accepted. Good for kids with kids menus and high chairs. Family friendly, college students and tourists.

Restrooms and free Wi-fi.

Good overall experience. The food is solid and well-prepared, but nothing particularly special in terms of flavor. That said, the service really stood out—our server was excellent and made the experience much better. Worth a visit, especially for the service

Huge sandwich, very generous with the fillings, so unbelievably delicious. The pastrami, the sauces, the fries, it all just works.

Also I was picking up a take out order but man the place had an electric atmosphere, and watching the chef handle so many orders simultaneously was impressive.

This is a must visit place for anyone passing through Pittsburgh.

Fantastic sandwich shop and sports bar. The sandwiches are piled high with meat, coleslaw, and fries which all go very well together: hydration to match the high fat and protein fillings we all love. Pickes also on point, a whole pickle for a dollar! Vibes are great too, lively place with cozy lighting amongst old artwork.

My only complaint (given to service and overall stats) is no pricing on the menu for drinks. And when I asked waitstaff, they didn’t know the pricing for a pint of draft beer. All good has prices, just please put prices for drinks!

I was in the area for a week, and based on previous visits, went to this PB location every day. PB Reuben was perfect, Joe Dick and Stanley also good (lower cal), 6 piece tenders and fries was great (more like 12 pieces, some were small) and the spicy garlic and buffalo ranch (previous visit) were great. I watched the first two days – the line cook was top notch. No idle time, cleared the empty space on the grill and spread the rest out, set out and cleared 6 sandwiches at once. Checked temperature of chicken and others before serving. The fries got cycled and it made sense.

Staff is fast, professional, and kind. Unfortunately my sandwich was terrible.

It was put together in a very messy/awkward way, upside down, coleslaw on bottom so the juices pooled on the bread which was already smashed flat. Fries were both overcooked yet cold and soggy.

Never had a sandwich this bad at any other location. I gave feedback when requested through email, in response I was sent a coupon code that doesn’t function. I reached out about the bad coupon and never heard back.

My family and I were visiting in town and this place was suggested. When we walked in we were not greeted and has to ask the cook man if we just sat down. He rudely pointed to a seat. We asked to sit upstairs since that gave our party more space and he said “whatever”. We sat upstairs where a friendly waitress then gave us menus. Due to her pleasant demeanor, we decided that we would stay. After sitting for 20 minutes, might I add there was another party upstairs, we heard the cook downstairs speaking very rudely about us. He was very loud and yelling. This made my family feel very unsafe and we decided to leave. It was disheartening that this place was suggested, yet we were treated like we didn’t belong there. I tried to visit the website to report the encounter; however, this was my only avenue to express this encounter. I hope that any other family that looks like mine are not treated in the same manner.

So I had to try a “Pittsburgh sandwich” which apparently just means putting fries on a normal sandwich, and my friend brought me here. It did not disappoint! First, I shared the mozzarella wedges, which were fantastic. Then, for my sandwich, I got the sirloin steak and cheese with coleslaw on the side. I was not disappointed. Everything was perfectly cooked and the fries were just great fries (I was really worried they’d just have soggy, flavorless fries). Best of all, the prices were actually super reasonable.

Honestly this primanti and the one in strip district are the best.

10/10 PB Reuben
Great meat portion
Not too much fries and slaw
Perfect sauce ratio

I got a PB Reuben and the chef did such a good job, I was pleasantly surprised. Best primanti PB Reuben yet. She prepared this for me all while having to make tens of other sandwiches too.

When we asked what the “Pittsburgh” food was, we were directed to Primanti Bros. We split a pastrami sandwich and corned beef sandwich, and they were both outstanding. The bread is light and airy, the meat portions are huge, and it’s all topped with slaw and fries; no need for sides. The prices are ridiculously cheap, but that seemed to be a trend throughout the city. 10/10 will eat there again if I return to Pennsylvania.
