Every time we visit Seattle, we promise ourselves one real American steak dinner. This year, we chose Ruth’s Chris Steak House.
Atmosphere: The atmosphere is cozy, featuring dark colors and classic white tablecloths. There are no windows, which I personally like as it adds to the intimacy. The restaurant is clean and very well-maintained.
Service: The hostesses at the front desk were polite and formal. Our waiter was kind, professional, and attentive. One thing to note: the service is very quick.
Food: The quality of the food is outstanding. This is the kind of steak you can only find in the USA—perfectly pink in the middle and served sizzling. The mashed potatoes and creamed spinach completed the experience, and the red wine was the perfect finishing touch.
Price: Wow! It was quite a shock. The prices are on a different level than what we are used to, especially considering we were finished within an hour. However, if you have the budget and love a good steak, you should definitely visit Ruth’s.

My son and I had an amazing dinner experience! I think this restaurant will be our future go-to restaurant for all our special celebrations. Everything we ordered was perfection! We ordered the 16 oz prime steak, 20 oz porterhouse, lobster mac and cheese, chopped salad and jumbo lobster tail!

We visited for Christmas lunch and had a truly wonderful dining experience from start to finish. The service was warm, attentive, and perfectly timed, making us feel welcomed and well cared for throughout the meal. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The seared Ahi tuna was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, while the scallop risotto was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The veal osso buco ravioli was tender, comforting, and full of deep, savory flavor. We ended the meal with the crème brûlée, which had a silky smooth custard and a perfectly caramelized crust. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the overall experience made our Christmas lunch feel special and memorable.

Excellent customer service James was our waiter. He was very professional, even gave us a free order of brussels sprouts! My steak was cooked perfectly. Everything tasted exquisite and divine. It was worth the money in my opinion, but this was also my first time going there will definitely be back!

Great experience, stopped in solo and sat in the bar area. My server was quick to get my order and she was one of the friendliest servers I’ve had. I declined the bread, when she offered. Later, the manager walked by to check to see if I had been well taken care of and I assured him I had. I did appreciate him checking either way. Ordered 6oz med/rar filet with shrimp and it was really good, temperature was correct on the steak. Steakhouse Salad was delicious too. I’d definitely go back. Also, my server Mali was kind enough to recommend a local book store that has cats and a local record store. Really appreciate that since I’ve never been to Seattle before!

We celebrated my husband’s birthday here. He’s been wanting to experience the food here, and it didn’t disappoint..we got the Seared Ahi Tuna for the appetizer, and it was cooked perfectly. My husband and I thought that the sauce overpowered the seared tuna, but it was still good. The fillet and the lamb chops were cooked perfectly. For dessert, we got bread pudding and the cheesecake for my husband. They were both good, too!

The service here was incredible. I dined alone and Jude really made me feel welcome and promptly brought out all the food, even chatting to me a little. As for the food, it was pretty good. There are definitely better steaks at this price point and I wasn’t blown away or anything, but it was a decent meal. The decor in the place is a bit dated and doesn’t have much character which doesn’t help the atmosphere, but a good experience all round!

First time in a long time going out with just my spouse. We’ve visited the location in Denver and remember it being a worthwhile trip.
The Seattle location was definitely better. Our waiter was a professional—the kind of server you’d expect at a restaurant that costs this much. The food was also on par. Really not much to say except that it was an excellent, intimate dinner.
Definitely not a place you go to on a whim. Go knowing you’re paying close to $100 per person—more if you indulge in any adult beverages.
Overall, it was worth the visit. We loved it and we’re glad we went.
