I have to say first and foremost, our server Natalie was amazing in her job. We were first timers and I was excited to visit as I have had them on my list for quite some time. I wasn’t disappointed at all. I will say, if you want ribs? Better get there quick cause at 5pm, they were gone and I was lucky to get a 1/2 rack but that was plenty. All in all, had a great visit and will be back.

THE BEST RESTAURANT IN AMERICA! After a 10 day road trip acrossed the US, boy did we save the best for last! Absolutely AMAZING FOOD! Every appetizer, meal and dessert plate was full, very very tasty and satisfying!! We are 9hrs away and would in a HEARTBEAT drive 9hrs to eat here again! We can’t stop talking about this place! Don’t hesitate just GO…RUN…DRIVE…to this AWESOME restaurant!! Love love LOVE IT!! We ABSOLUTELY will be back!! Waitresses we’re super nice and did a fantastic job as well! Kuddos to the cook..give them a HUGE raise!

We had a great first experience at Steerfish in Spearfish South Dakota. The atmosphere is really nice and the location is great. It’s located right in the middle of downtown. The service was good and the staff was friendly. We started out with the rattlesnake bites which are their spin of a jalapeno popper. They were very good very crispy and the sauce is very good. They were a bit spicy. We both had the chicken fried steak for an entree. It was really really good. The steak was very crispy and very tender and the gravy was just the right color of brown. The mashed potatoes and the beans were also good. For dessert we both had the bread pudding which was unbelievable portions were huge and the sauce was really good.

First visit – service was pretty terrible but the food was good. BBQ shrimp was super good, the Gambler (buffalo chicken sandwich) was great, but the Buffalo burger was simply decent. They tried serving it to me without a bun. And it was overdone. Overall I’d return but was a little disappointed.

Love any food place in historical buildings with the inside decore inside that matching the old feel. Greeted and were seated shortly after arriving. The menu’s were like a thick Novel, while waiting as staff passed by with the food that smelled and look so good for any photo moment. My cheese burger was the total bomb love every bite..

Our server , Jeremy was great! His drinks were amazing and his customer service was excellent. Would definitely visit again for drinks and dessert as the ambiance was nice,not so sure about the entrees though.
The clam, mussels and shrimp linguine tasted great but came out missing the 4 jumbo shrimps. The order was sent back but still came out with only 2.
The steak tips were past well done , they were so dry they could be called dusty and why was only one side of the bread toasted ?
Loved the caramel apple crisp with the ice cream and their chocolate lava cake.

Great place to eat. Has a great vibe and the food is delicious. We visited during happy hour and decided to split appetizers. Wow at the amount of food. We ordered pulled pork potato skins,walleye strips,crab stuffed mushrooms,bacon wrapped shrimp,and jalapeno poppers. Also tried the cowboy beans and green chili. Everytbin was delicious,fresh,and hot. Beer was cold and cocktails were strong. Music was fun. Service was superb. Definitely will drop in again and next time I’m eating a steak.

Excellent steak house. Good service and atmosphere. Iconic Cowboy decor with beautiful wood tones. Steaks were prepared perfectly and sides were delicious as well. Hats off to the slightly sweetened cornbread. Staff was attentive, cordial and friendly. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great steak dinner.

Great spot for dinner in Spearfish. Gets busy quick so get a reservation or get there early. Our service was excellent and the food was generally very good. My only complaint was that my salad came with quite a bit of brown and wilting lettuce. Had the prime rib special on a Friday night and it was delicious. Potato smashers as a side were excellent.
