Upscale look with a great atmosphere, but prices are very reasonable.
The Chirashi Don was fresh and well balanced, though the portion was on the smaller side, so I added the tempura appetizer. It was light, crispy, and not greasy at all. The Sashimi Dinner was generous and tasty, and we liked that the rice was served separately instead of under the teriyaki chicken.
Nice lighting, good vibes, solid Japanese food at fair prices. Would come back.

Everything we ordered was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The sashimi platter was a standout each cut was thick and buttery. The fresh oysters were plump and sweet with a perfect balance of ponzu and green onion, definitely some of the best I’ve had in Vancouver.
The sushi rolls were simple yet delicious, with just the right amount of rice and fresh ingredients, and the udon soup was warm, comforting, and full of seafood umami. To finish, the panna cotta dessert was light, silky, and refreshing with citrus and pistachio notes.
We didn’t really like the karage chicken

Temaki Sushi was an absolute gem that we discovered while visiting Vancouver. Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh and delicious from start to finish. We began with the Tako Karaage, which was simply divine — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and a wonderful way to start the meal.
My husband and I then shared the Chef’s Nigiri and the Assorted Sashimi, and both were outstanding. The quality and freshness of the ingredients truly stood out, and every bite was a treat.
The restaurant itself was quaint and inviting, adding to the overall experience. Our waitress was excellent — attentive without being intrusive — and always made sure our tea was hot and our water glasses were full.
We would absolutely recommend Temaki Sushi to anyone visiting Vancouver and will definitely be back the next time we’re in town!

This is the place to be if you are looking at the best sushi and sashimi in town! Crystal was serving us and she was hands-down one of the best servers we had. She recommended us pieces to try based on what liked and took the time to explain everything to us. She made sure we had everything we needed throughout the dinner. Thanks Crystal!
The today’s sashimi and aburi (torched) were so amazing that they will melt in your mouth. The food, service and ambiance were just the perfect combo of what you would want in a restaurant. Make sure to visit Temaki when you are in Vancouver!

Paul was an amazing server – he made our experience so lovely and calm, and even helped us get our car from the parkade. He went above and beyond with his service. Give that man a raise!
We come here often and it’s such a gem. Always consistent, fresh, and high tier sushi with quality ingredients. They’re super accommodating with reservations and it’s become a go to staple. I almost don’t wanna tell people about it so I can keep it as a secret spot!!

Great fresh nigiri. Fav items were the fried squid, new york tataki, tempura is very crispy, also assorted Sashimi with soy sauce wasabi ginger woa! So good so fresh
I had an amazing experience here today! I was quite stressed out from work and life, so reserved for dinner with my family. A staff ( Crystal) was waiting outside for me and led me to the talble. She was so friendly that customers could eat and enjoy the mood I really liked the atmosphere and how they served the customers.
No wonder why the rate is so high. We will definitely revisit again!!

Temaki Sushi is my new favourite spot! The sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend sitting at the sushi bar to watch the amazing chefs at work… it truly elevated the entire experience.

We decided to get some sushi one night while in Vancouver and this place did not disappoint. We didn’t make a reservation so we ended up waiting over an hour for our table (much longer than estimated time given to us). We finally got seated and were famished at that point. Food came quickly and it was definitely worth the wait. The fish was super fresh and the rice portion in the rolls was just right. Staff was accommodating and friendly, even gave us a 15% discount for the long wait. We’ll definitely come back here if we’re visiting Vancouver again but will remember to make a reservation next time.
