I have been to all of their restaurants and this one has the best service. We had April as our server and she was absolutely amazing . The vibe was great and the food came out hot and fast. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Great job.

Great spot to eat in Detroit. I personally enjoy the atmosphere a lot; it offers a retro-style dining experience and has plenty of comfortable seating. However, the service can be lackluster here. Union Assembly can get very busy, and the wait time can be up to an hour. Also, we had a few moments where we felt forgotten. The food easily makes up for the service, thankfully. The menu is not vast, but that’s a good thing. I always get a deep-dish Detroit-style pizza, and my wife gets the chillidog pizza. During my last visit, I got an East Sider pizza, which had spicy peppers and pepperoni. It tasted amazing. One thing to note: come here at dinner time and get the CHICKEN AND WAFFLES DEEP DISH! Wow. That specialty pizza is absolutely the best I’ve ever had. I HIGHLY recommend it. Overall, a great place to eat and experience. Do yourself a favor and come dine here, folks.

This place was great it terms of location to the arenas. The staff was overwhelmingly positive and great at their jobs. And for such a prime location, the prices seem pretty fair. They were out of a few options which was disappointing. And when asked for fries with the sliders it comes as the full appetizer size, not just a side. Good bar with a decent amount of draft beers to accommodate whatever your party drinks.

Loved the service ❤️ great atmosphere. Great view. Right across the street from Comerica park. Food is delicious and reasonable priced. Great house salad highly recommend

Food was overpriced and really didn’t leave you wanting to return. Nothing I ate left me impressed ( especially for the price). The staff was great and so was the service. The atmosphere and location is great but, I cannot get past the poor food quality. I would return for drinks but, I would not recommend for dinning.

The food wasn’t anything to write home about. The hot wings were peculiar. They have an acquired taste. The pizza was bland no flavor and when we received it room temperature the cheese had a nice pull. The menu is very scarce more items need to be added.

I live in clarkston so I don’t have high hopes for a union joint and as usual they were as average and overpriced as possible.i had the bumpy cake that was amazing the salted Carmel sauce was on point I also ordered there regular burger and frys. The burger is tiny and overcooked with some average frys that were luke warm 20$ there are some very upscale restaurants in the area with a better burger same price. As for service there is a separate counter for Togo orders, but I was sitting right in front of there waiting for longer then they said and when I asked she said it had been up for a while so no awareness of there surroundings. Disappointed.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Union Assembly in downtown Detroit. This bar boasts a wonderful ambiance, making it the perfect spot for a lively night out. One of the highlights of my visit was the stunning second-floor mezzanine level, which is open to the outside and perfectly frames the Tigers Stadium. The view was simply breathtaking.
What truly elevated our experience, however, was Nikki—she is an absolute gem! Her cocktail-making skills are nothing short of exceptional; every drink she crafted was not only bursting with flavor but also artfully presented. We had a couple of the summer specials but i think my favorite was the strawberry Negroni. Beyond her impressive mixology, Nikki’s sparkling personality created a warm and inviting atmosphere.
If you’re searching for a fantastic place to relax, enjoy expertly crafted cocktails, and take in a spectacular view in a vibrant setting, look no further than Union Assembly. It was definitely a five-star experience that I can’t wait to repeat.

This pla e was fun! We needed brunch before going to the Lions game. Good choice. Food and service was great. The fritatta was done just right. Good mix of people and even a DJ. This started my birthday off nicely 9/28. In Detroit? Try this place.

Megan Page was so sweet. She was extremely busy, but made all of the effort to ensure we had a good dining experience.
The salad was fresh and the chicken was nice and juicy.
