Chicken Express in Lawton is not playing around!!!
I got the three piece fried chicken combo with a roll and fries, and listen, this chicken was so good it would make you wanna slap your mama .
The skin was crispy like it had a PhD in crunch, and the meat was so juicy it felt illegal.
I walked in and the smell alone had me ready to write a thank you letter to the fryer .
Folks hype up KFC and Popeyes, but that is bottom shelf compared to this, and them Popeyes biscuits will dry your soul out if you do not have a drink.
This chicken though, this is top tier, main event, heavyweight champion fried chicken.
The roll was soft, the fries handled business, but the chicken was the star of the whole show.
If heaven has a food court, Chicken Express is back there running the fryer.

My pick up order was intentionally packed with old, cold, and chewy chicken. There is no way employees didn’t know the caliber of food they were serving and they served it anyway. I’d guess that the chicken was severely past its hold time and instead of tossing it and preparing fresh food they intentionally served it knowing a take out order wouldn’t verify the order’ s quality until the food got home. I love Chicken E and have been a customer for well over a decade, well before they opened this store in Lawton, but no longer.

This is one of my favorite places to eat came in today. It took forever for the food to get served a lot of people where waiting and clearly upset it was kind of strange it took so long considering their were so many people in the back and only one really doing anything was the girl at the window the front counter guy brought out couple orders but gave it to wrong people we all watched them read the recipe and give each other the rite order . The chicken had no flavor full of grease so bad it actually made me and my family kind of sick . My husband and I order number 3s and they asked what pieces of chicken we told them they gave us what they decide we should have . We let them know they said they were out of those pieces but never expressed that . Definitely disappointed considering it’s a favorite spot to eat .

Decided I wanted some spicy strips from chicken Express today. Ordered the same as I always get number 2 spicy fries and half and half tea.
Strips super small and not even seven. All of them burnt! Big waist of $20. Except for the tea.

I had to come on here and update my review because I just went back to chicken express with a seventy dollar order.I got the sixteen piece family meal with french fries, corn on the cob and poppers, and I got two eighteen pack gizzards, but what I brought home was sixteen piece chicken with three french fries and two twelve packs of liver.
We don’t eat liver. Also I ordered it with rolls, and I got biscuits.
It’s very disappointing, especially when you spend that amount of money and you expect to get what you order.
Everything is great, especially the gizzards.

Chicken places in Florida don’t have anything on Chicken Express.
I give the food 110%…. the Corn. O wow. It’s the butter. You have to try it once. It’s like cagen corn.
Once you have it, you just know it’s one of the best.
I had to come back and do a review…..
I walled in, and I wanted to speak to the manager…
He came out and talked to me for a few minutes. I told him how happy I was… ,
the food is amazing. Try it all…..
They came out and helped me with the review.
They took the time to make my experience welcoming.
They do more drive up window orders than door orders.

I placed a 60.00 order got home the chicken strips were so tiny. I have a dairy and egg allergy so I ordered 2 fish fillets and 6 hush puppies for myself. I got home and I got the fish but a buttered roll on the fish no hush puppies. I called they tried telling me they will just take the roll and give me hush puppies. I told them I have a dairy allergy I can’t eat the fish now either. I said I need new fish and 6 hush puppies. Had to explain that the butter roll on the fish makes it dangerous for me to eat. They fix it I get home and guess I should have checked it cause I have 4 hush puppies not 6. It’s a 15 minute drive one way for me. I was not making the trip again. Unfortunately I will not be coming back now.
