Took my wife to DJ’s Bar and Grill for Valentines day brunch.
I had the steak and eggs and my wife had the French toast with I think the classic breakfast.
Before the meal she had a double mimosa and I had a single.
We also had our toddler with us who had pancakes.
The food and service was outstanding.
The meals plus tip as about $111.50.
The only knock was we were sitting below an AC vent that was dripping condensation on the table.
Other than that, a great meal and service!

I want to love this restaurant. The atmosphere is outstanding and the service is always good. But I’ve just never had a great meal there. Family of 3 visited tonight, first time since their name change. We had basic, easy-to-make food: shrimp pasta, chicken wings, and a Cobb salad. All plates were just not very good. Service was attentive and kind, prices are fine, and atmosphere is the same (great). But I could have done better (fresher) simply picking up food at Sam’s Club or HEB. Sorry to say it like that.
We will go back and try once more, for burgers or sandwiches, but I hope meanwhile the kitchen will get some attention on the basics.

The Mid-Watch
This place is great! First off, the staff was amazing! We stopped in on a Friday afternoon for lunch and we were greeted with a smile. We had a party of 12, and they accommodated us right away. Our server was spot on with everything, and I wish I could remember his name. Anyway, the food was really good. I recommend the Hickory Burger and the parmasean fries. The winning wings were also good!

Moderately priced $15 – 40. Name changed from Cover 3. Dim lit dining with a rectangular sports bar in the middle. TV’s show sports depending on the season. Beers on draft, cocktails and slim selection of wine. Food well seasoned and tasty. Parking is free, will probably need to park in the garage across the street, no charge for the parking garage. Family friendly.

Loved the Prickly Pear Margherita as well as my moist chicken enchiladas and salad.

My daughter and I ate brunch here today. Food and service were amazing. Rose was one of the friendliest and most welcoming servers I have had in some time, and always with a smile. Great experience all around. Will definitely be back.

I always forget about this place, but only because I’m never on this side of town. And when I come I always say we need to come here more often. Our server was incredible. My French onion soup so so good. The entire food and drinks were good other than my chicken sandwich. My honey was raving about because he was just there 4 days ago so I ordered it and it lacked flavor. It’s almost like a new cook took care of my dish and all the others were prepared by the chef. However it’s a one off, I’d still come back. Great place to watch sports and super family friendly.

Beautiful place to stubble in to. What a pleasant surprise. Our meal was soooo good from the pretzel to the main meals. Each of us had something different and all was good. Kid and pet friendly. Our server was helpful and very pleasant. We were not hurried or made to feel like they wanted us to eat and get out. It was a delightful time with my family. I will return and I recommend it it highly to anyone that wants a good time, good meal.
