I stopped by this spot for a quick meal and was seriously impressed! The chicken teriyaki was perfectly grilled — juicy, flavorful, and coated in just the right amount of sweet-savory sauce. The portion size was generous, and everything tasted fresh.
The service was quick and friendly, and my order came out hot within minutes. The setup is simple and tidy and welcoming. It’s a nice spot when you’re craving something tasty and satisfying without a long wait.

I had the pleasure of trying out this place. I’m was in town for the weekend. I got vegetable hibachi rice, shrimp, tempura, and the crispy spring rolls. Service was quick, food was fresh. Nice and cheap only spend $21.

This place is always clean from the dining room to the staff! The food is always on point and the portion sizes are generous. I often get the chicken teriyaki deal or the sushi, never disappointed. Staff is always polite and friendly and very accommodating since I can change my mind about 5 times while I’m standing at the register lol! They are always patient. Come check them out!

Such a great experience overall. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared—you can really taste the quality in every bite. Everything felt authentic and made with care. This is definitely a place I’d come back to and highly recommend to anyone looking for great Japanese food.

Had the steak and shrimp hibachi, flavorful and reasonably tender meat, generous portion size. Served hot over rice with a side of vegetables (which would benefit from adding carrot). While eating I noticed the crew wiping down the counters and keeping things clean, a good sign. There is an offer for a free drink if you give a google review, but hard to do that without first trying the food. The manager saw the flawed logic and simply gave me the free drink, so happily here is my review.

Tried out Sakura Express and was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the teriyaki chicken with white rice, and it arrived fresh, hot, and had a little “stank” on it—in the best way. The chicken had those crispy edges I love, and the veggies were bright green, nicely seasoned, and cooked just right. I added a side of broccoli, and they didn’t miss—fresh and flavorful.
Shoutout to them for following instructions too. I asked for light sauce on the teriyaki, and it was perfectly coated—not swimming in glaze, just enough to hit the flavor without overpowering.
Now, sushi from express spots usually isn’t my thing, but their photos reeled me in. I played it safe with the California rolls. The avocado looked super fresh and ripe, though the taste leaned a bit bitter. Still, the sushi rice was on point—seasoned just right with a subtle balance of vinegar and sugar.
I requested traditionally brewed soy sauce like Kikkoman, but they sent gluten-free packets instead. Cool to know they offer that option, but luckily, I had my own Kikkoman to enjoy the rolls fully.
