I just had to share my recent experience at the restaurant. I’ll admit, after a previous visit, I had been a little concerned it might have lost some of its sparkle. But wow, I was absolutely blown away this time around!

Seriously, from the moment we arrived, everything was just fantastic. The service was incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. The place was sparkling clean, which I always appreciate, and every dish that came out looked like a work of art.

It’s so clear that whoever is overseeing things truly champions excellence, because the quality across the board was outstanding. And the food, oh my goodness, the food! The Bang Bang Shrimp was cooked to perfection – wonderfully crispy and served with vibrant, fresh vegetables and tender butter lettuce. And those chicken wontons? They were a revelation, with that amazing balance of creamy chicken and cream cheese, topped off with a delightful drizzle of hot buffalo sauce. Pure genius!

Honestly, it was a truly faultless dining experience from start to finish. I couldn’t have asked for a better evening.

A nice place to have a quick bite and a drink after an evening movie as they are open until 2am!

It’s definitely a sports bar so expect bar food. Great selection of drinks and has a friendly staff! Worth a try if you’re in the area.

This place was so great!!! They have a tonnnn of vegetarian options and it was so refreshing to see! One of my friends had the Szechuan Cauliflower Tacos and loved them! He isnt a big fan of spicy stuff & said that these were the perfect level of sauce to taco ratio! I had the Alfredo and some Garlic fries! They were soooo good. Probably the best Alfredo I’ve had. It’s listed as a side but is portioned like a main dish! Yum! The Garlic fries were also soooo tasty. Best seasoning ever. I made reservations for this place on a Friday night, but didn’t even need them! There are sooo many options for seating and it’s not super busy! -actually was pretty quiet and nice to relax and eat! Our server was so kind and helped us pick out what we wanted. She was very sweet and fast! I definitely will be coming back whenever I need a fancy place to munch at.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted and promptly seated. The waitress was friendly and offered advice on appetizers and dishes. The buffalo chicken egg roll appetizer was delicious. Slightly spicy and extremely flavorful. The smash burger was very small and generally un-exciting. The beef noodle dish was also slightly spicy. The cookies and icecream was not impressive at all. The cookies seemed very greasy and the icecream was pretty average also. It was good but not memorable. The atmosphere was upscale sports bar vibe.

The Loop in Minneapolis is a fantastic neighborhood sports bar near Wayzata Boulevard. It has a great walk-in vibe where you can relax, watch a game, and enjoy some really good food.

The pizzas are the highlight — freshly baked right in front of you, loaded with fresh toppings, and available in both vegetarian and non-veg options.

The beer selection is excellent too, always crisp and fresh. It’s the perfect spot to catch up with friends, enjoy a lively game-day atmosphere, and have a great meal. Definitely one of our favorite places to unwind.

Went there for the first time and I have to say it was such a wonderful experience! Food was absolutely delicious, and the staff were so nice and respectful. The best customer service I’ve received in a very long time from any restaurant. 100/10!!

They never responded or reached back out after i tried again to follow up. A basic apology would have gone a long way so my advice is to avoid this place since there are a ton of great options in the area.

I wanted to email them my feedback but didnt see an option. We went there for my birthday nuce because they had vegan options for my wife. Our server asked us why we were there and she told her it was my birthday and they said they would bring out a little cake or something to help us celebrate. I thought that was nice I ordered the fish and chips and it was bad… the fries were so hard and coated in salt and seasoning to the point of like rocks. The fish was also over fried and over salted as well I took one bite and pushed it away. The server asked and I told her it wasn’t edible she insisted on bringing me a new one I kept saying no that’s OK my wife had already started eating when the food first came out and at that point I just wanted to finish up. She kept saying she would have a new one made and I kept saying no and she finally walked away to help some other people. Another employee came up and asked me if everything was good I explained the issue with the meal and he took the plate and also said he would have a new one brought out. I told him as well I was fine and we didnt want it remade. He left and our server came back and said you know we can always remake something for you if it isn’t done right the first time. We sat for a little longer and my wife asked for a box and I asked for the check. In the end they didnt charge me for the fish (fair because it was overcooked, over seasoned and I only had one small bite) but they seemed to be done with us. I never got my birthday treat she didnt apologize for the bad meal (I know it wasn’t her fault but still) and they made no move or attempt to try and do anything extra (even a small gesture like comping my $5 drink). After tip I spent over $50 to watch my wife eat while I had a glass of water and a $5 cherry bomb. My birthday meal ended up being a quick microwave option later that night.

Absolutely terrible! I have eaten here several times in the past. Nothing to write home about, but fine- decent enough to have returned for a casual dinner after work.
The food has definitely gone downhill. In the past I’ve enjoyed the steak salad and had the chocolate chip cookie dessert. I planned to order the same.
The steak salad was completely doused in balsamic dressing. There were far more potatoes than steak (potato salad?) and the “steak” was the lowest quality- awful flavor and consistency. I used my husband’s horseradish sour cream to cover the bad taste. Previously it was a salad of balanced flavors and delicious flank steak. Very disappointing.
My husband’s food was also very poor quality and lacked in flavor (except the dipping sauces).
We decided to not even order the dessert. We joked that it was now probably nothing more than a couple of Chips Ahoy and some whipped cream.
It seems The Loop now caters to folks who are drunk and therefore don’t care if the food is awful.
A disappointing experience and waste of money.

I have been here many times for the great food & service. We came to get a drink around 8:20pm and got seated right away. I know it was New Years Eve so I expected it to be busy but after 30 minutes nobody had come to our table and two couples seated next to us that got there after us had been served waters and drinks. I went to ask the hostess about it and a waitress was at the desk chatting with her during this time and the hostess said she would get someone to our table. After this the waitress that was with the hostess comes to all the tables next to us again and completely ignores us. Another waitress walks by us so we asked her if she knew who was assigned to our table and she said that same girl, Allie. At this point it had be around 40 minutes since our arrival and we asked if she would mind serving us. She was excellent and took care of us, got us waters and got our drink orders in right away. I’m not sure what the mix up was here but it felt a little deliberate after I walked up to the hostess and that was our assigned waitress standing there that didn’t say a thing or address our wait or a little mess up. I wish we caught the name of the waitress that jumped in as she was amazing!

Stopped by for dinner while in town on Saturday, Oct 19, while in town for the Philadelphia Eagles game. We asked whether they could show the Iowa football game, and they assured us they could. That never became a reality, but when the Hawkeyes beat Minnesota (again) and kept Floyd in Iowa City the following weekend (Iowa 41 Minnesota 3), I am not as upset now as I was at the time.

We sat near the kitchen and noticed throughout the evening how long food sat at the counter before it was brought out. Our food was no exception. It arrived lukewarm at best. My wife and I ordered appetizers, and the sirloin bites were not good. The ricotta cheese on my son’s pizza did not taste fresh. Chicken tenders were okay, but not warm. We debated sending food back, but decided it was likely to sit and cool at the counter like the other dishes, so there was no upside.

Our server and the staff were pleasant, but not super attentive. We enjoyed the restaurant’s atmosphere, but the food did not deliver.
