Our group stopped by TJ Birria y Mas in Stafford on a warm Wednesday afternoon, and it turned out to be a great choice. The restaurant had a lively atmosphere even during the slower hours, and parking was easy to find. As soon as we walked in, the smell of stewed birria and spices filled the air, and the staff welcomed us with friendly smiles. The inside was colorful and clean, with indoor and outdoor patio seating and a large, bright chalkboard menu that gave it a fun, casual vibe.
We paid at the counter, and the food came out quickly, still steaming and beautifully plated. Alyssa tried the Birriadillas con Consomé, which had crispy tortillas, melted cheese, and tender beef. Sharon ordered Chicken Street Tacos and loved the spicy salsa and fluffy Mexican rice on the side. Angelina went with the Birria Ramen, which was flavorful, rich, and perfectly balanced, and her Agua Fresca was a perfect blend of cucumbers and syrup. Jennifer’s Birria Deluxe Plate was the favorite of the group for its variety and taste.
Every dish was fresh, well-portioned, and full of flavor. Prices were fair for the size of the meals, and the staff checked on us often to make sure everything was perfect. The restaurant was spotless, even the bathrooms, and the overall service was quick and attentive. Some dishes could have used a touch more seasoning, but everything tasted authentic and satisfying. TJ Birria y Mas is a fun, welcoming spot for anyone craving real Mexican comfort food, and we can’t wait to come back to try the desserts next time.

Swung by my favorite birria taco spot! Wish it was closer to Richmond. I order the quesabirria tacos without the queso and they did a lovely job and also gave me a green and red sauce. They honored my birthday coupon and I was grateful I tipped them. Give this place a try, super delicious and quick birria tacos!!

This is our first time trying TJ Birria and I can without a doubt say we will be coming back! We ordered the Volcano shrimp tacos and the Birria Ramen Combo. The tacos are perfect and my fiancés first words of his review was “Mmmmm” with a mouth full of his Birria Ramen. Service was great and quick! Can’t wait to come back

This has to be my favorite video place in Houston now there are ton of places ton of food trucks so it’s hard to say it’s the best however, it’s the best that I’ve had on two separate occasion consistent freshly made hot food, clean restaurant friendly service. Lots of parking I would highly recommend and look forward to coming back.

TJ Birria is one of our favorite places for birria tacos. My teenage daughter is so obsessed she opted to eat here for her birthday rather than a fine dining restaurant. Their food is ALWAYS fresh and the service is amazing. We love their tacos and Ramen. The Agua Fresca is delicious. I can’t get enough of the tamarind flavor while my daughter likes the hibiscus flavor. Any one you choose will not disappoint. Our family looks for reasons to treat ourselves to TJ Birrias. It’s located about 30 minutes from our home but this doesn’t deter us from visiting as often as we can. If you like tacos, this a great spot to try. You will be happy you did.

I came here with my husband and we enjoyed our time here. We both got quesadillas which were delicious. We also ordered chips that came with a green and red sauce. The place is on the smaller side so be mindful when coming on a busy day.

This is my first time actually leaving a review, even though I’ve been here plenty of times — and let me tell you, this place has never missed. It’s always been good to me. The service is friendly and fast, the atmosphere is clean, and the food? Chef’s kiss!
I only ever order the birria tacos, and they are consistently excellent. The flavor, the presentation, the quality of the meat — all great. I’ve never bitten into anything chewy or fatty, and I absolutely love that.
