Good is so good! I think that’s were it ends.
I have not been here for 2-3 years. I walk up to a very stand off ish security guard. I greet him and he very cold says in spanish “ wait a bit” . I look inside and there is 1 person paying while 5 people are behind the counter! I wait my turn, he says “go inside they will be with you soon”
I order 2 tacos and a coke. Tacos as. $5.25.
I have been to some pretty high end places in LA that have $4-$5 tacos . I understand inflation, but can part of the rising cost be that you have 5 people behind the counter while serving 1? Not to mention 1 person at the juice counter and 5-6 people at the tortillería .
Like I said I wish you well. I know the food is good, maybe find a friendlier security? Maybe attend to a few more people at a time? I cont fix the business, but I don’t think it’s heading the right direction.

Meal type: …
I wasn’t expecting magic, but that’s exactly what I got. When I bit into their salteñas, I had a full Ratatouille moment—like the one from the movie, where the food instantly transports you back to your childhood. That was me. I felt like a kid again, sitting at a table in Bolivia, savoring something made with love and tradition.
If you’ve ever hunted for authentic Bolivian salteñas, this place is a rare gem. It’s one of the only spots where they’re not just “inspired by”—they’re the real deal. I grew up in Bolivia, and I can honestly say: these taste exactly like I remember.
Fair warning though: they’re dangerously addictive. The chicken ones? Absolute perfection. Rich, savory filling with just the right balance of sweetness and spice, wrapped in that golden, slightly crispy dough… You’ll be thinking about them long after they’re gone.
If you’re craving a genuine taste of Bolivia—or just want to experience food that stirs the soul—this is
La Rancherita – Hidden Gem!
Tried out La Rancherita recently, and I was honestly impressed. Tacos are about $5 and some change, which might seem a little up there, but totally worth it — especially the tacos de chicharrón
The tortilla is huge — like big enough to make two tacos out of one! And they don’t skimp on the filling either. The portion is super generous, the flavor is rich, and you can tell they put pride into the food. Definitely recommend if you’re craving something authentic and satisfying.
Worth every bite
