We visited George on our way back home from the airport. As soon as I stepped in, I felt comforted by the warm atmosphere – the decor is minimal yet cozy with lots of sunlight filtering through. I had their seasonal Maple Cayenne Mocha and their Cinnamon Scone and Nutella on Brioche. The Mocha itself was top notch – well rounded with a kick. I highly recommend it! The pastries were also done well. No unnecessary fluff and balanced flavours.

My only regret was the I was pressed for time and didn’t bring a book to read with me. Definitely check it out if that is your jam.

This coffee shop is a true neighborhood treasure, beautifully repurposed from a single-family home into a warm and inviting café. The interior exudes charm and comfort, with cozy nooks and stylish touches that make it perfect for both solo visits and group hangouts. They offer a reservable section for 8–12 people, ideal for small gatherings, and the outdoor seating adds a relaxed, scenic vibe. Most importantly, their coffee drinks are exceptional. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer. For coffee lovers and bookworms, this is a must visit places if you’re in DFW area.

Went to there for lunch. It was great experience. Order for Esspreso and butter bread with banana and some spread. Nice place to have brunch or lunch or light dinner with family or working too. Enough space inside and outside. Really excellent place to enjoy.

I’ve been going to this coffee shop since it’s opened and I really am a big fan of all the seasonal flavors and I love the pastries as well. This is totally a go to if you’re in the area and it has such comfortable booth seating as well as outdoor seating if the weather is kind, the workers are very nice

Definitely hipster. Modern farmhouse. Minimalist. Very popular, great spot to knock out some emails while drinking your oat milk lavender latte or steaming hot Americano. Some food offerings, from muffins to boxes of mixed snacky foods, breakfast tacos and the occasional scones. They do have a cozy gas fireplace, tables and chairs Hightower and regular. Nice light, big windows. Good location in charming old-time inspired area of Coppell. Street parking and parking lot nearby.

Wonderful happy anc helpful staff. I ordered a coffee from their seasonal menu and was disappointed when I got my coffee. In my mind I ordered a horchata type of latte and instead I got a black coffee infused with spices and cinnamon. They saw i looked confused and i tomd them not to worry as the line behind me wss looooong. Whilst I was waiting for my friends order they called out my name with a horchata type of latte in the mug, o asked them did they call my name out but meant my friends order was ready. He said ” no mam, this is for you, I figured this is what you were hoping for, is that what you meant?” I was blown away! The barista did an amazing job and it honestly was so happy. I’m coming back and making that 35 min drive just because they love their customers!
Thank you staff, you made me happy!

I am Coffee Lover and the ambience in particular is AWEEEE and amazing.
This is one of the few coffee shops in DFW which everyone should try.
I came all the way from Richardson and I completely fell in love with the coffee and the atmosphere.
Would love to come back many more times.

Edited:
Bought the ground coffee today.
Jillian was really nice and super helpful—she helped me pick the right coffee beans and was kind enough to grind them for me as well. She is amazing.

I’m falling in love with this coffee shop all over again. It’s been three months since my last visit, and nothing has changed. I’ll always happily drive through traffic just to come here.

Thank you!

We discovered George’s Coffee + Provisions in 2024 while in Coppell for an appointment. After moving from Michigan to Texas in 2022, I had been missing a fall drink we used to have called a “Chaider” (spiced steamed apple cider). George’s had the closest thing I’ve found in Texas, so we returned several times specifically for that.

On one visit I ordered a blueberry muffin. The flavor was great, but like many coffee shop muffins it was a bit dry, so the next time I asked if I could have a small side of butter with it.

That simple request somehow turned into a situation involving a manager explaining that they couldn’t give me butter because they didn’t know how to charge for it. I even offered to just pay for it, but that wasn’t an option.

On a later visit I found a workaround: I ordered sourdough toast with the butter on the side and used the butter for the muffin instead. Problem solved.

Fast forward to today. I ordered the same thing again and specifically asked for the butter on the side. The toast arrived already buttered. When I politely mentioned this, the employee went back to the kitchen multiple times while they tried to “figure it out.” Eventually she came back and told me they simply don’t do butter on the side and that I could speak with a manager if I wanted.

At that point I declined and said I wouldn’t be coming back.

I genuinely liked their drinks and wanted to keep supporting the place, but it’s hard to justify returning to a coffee shop where something as basic as butter for a muffin requires this much discussion and ultimately isn’t allowed.

Oh my goodness, talk about cute! It’s darling. This place is a place Joanna Gaines would be proud to see. . Super great food, very clean, very friendly and well kept and has all the vibes. Great for a morning chat with a friend or a work day on your laptop. Also, there are rooms in the front, booths and then beyond that, keep walking because there is another room in the back and picnic tables outdoors.
