We came here not knowing if it was a full service or counter service restaurant, but honestly we loved the setup. There are easy to use kiosks, and the staff is always nearby to answer any questions. You basically build your own meal: plates, tacos, sides, and even choose the seasoning and sauce for your protein.
I ordered the salmon with garlic butter sauce, rice, and asparagus, and it was cooked perfectly. The fish & chips were also super delicious and crispy. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely come back if we’re in town and craving seafood.

I rarely eat seafood but I went to this place wanting something different. I liked the low key vibe, friendly serve but most importantly, I liked my dish. Full of flavor, light but it filled me up.

Great experience. Food came out hot and timely. The dynamite shrimp were great don’t worry it’s not spicy. Ceasar salad could use a crouton or 3. The shrimp skewer with the glaze was great. Maybe offer a lil more alcohol selection(truly or high noons) and cut down on the sun blinding you the the window.

First time here as I was craving some fish and chips and this place had good reviews and of course the photos look good. ordered the three piece fried fish and will say it was mediocre at best. Nothing stood out, wasn’t fantastic. for the price of 13.50 it’s fair. the coleslaw was basically just chopped salad with a little bit of dressing and I don’t think any mayonnaise but very dry and sort of bland. French fries weren’t bad. I wouldn’t go back for fish and chips. There’s many other places I go to that, or just superior. I always chuckle when I see a self-serve kiosk with no service behind the counter you pick up your own food, you make your own drinks, clean up your own table, throw your own trash and the machine suggests you to Tip.

I’ve had CA Fish Grill many times not by choice but at an event. This time, it was my choice and I wonder why I haven’t been here sooner.
Great healthy options. My mom was craving fish and chips but didn’t want the “chips”. So I got her beer battered fish with rice. It comes with two sides but I doubled up on the rice.
For myself, I got the salmon and white fish plate with rice and kale slaw topped with Cajun tartar sauce.
The whole ordering process was on the self kiosk which had photos and made ordering easy.
I wasn’t a fan of my salmon as it was tough and dry. The white fish was soft and flaky, the thinness also helped. I was hungry and finished my entire plate.
We also got clam chowder. It was creamy with mainly potatoes but be sure to mix it to get the clams on the bottom.
My mom was already telling me what she wants to get next time we come back.

Their prices are very affordable and the portions are not very big but will satisfy you. They don’t take long making the food. They have wild caught fish and farm raise fish as well.

I’m very picky about eating cooked fish. They cooked it perfectly. Not even slightly overdone. The slaw is very tasty and not overly dressed. The poke was really delicious with the wonton chips.

This place has a awesome menu fresh, crisp not greasy and good price. Seasoned to perfection. Love the salad and the plates. The fries are the bomb. Tables a few and since there are no trashes you kinda just sit at the table that has been bused

I received terrible customer service. I still left a minimal tip. The manager immediately made me a different order, with extras and a gift card, even though I didn’t ask her to replace the sides, she did and more! So I added two extra stars, and an extra service star. The street corn and sweet potato fries were good. I did not receive a welcome in, they were not busy. I did not receive a thank you upon paying. When my order came up, a worker named Alberto said nothing to me. He put cocktail, and tarter sauce on my plate, answered a phone call, and walked away. The food was underwhelming! The plate looked great, but tasted plain! The seafood had a hard fry, and the fish was undercooked, mushy even. I couldn’t eat it. I gave it back. It was as if they flash fried the seafood. The kale slaw had no taste, so I added the tartar sauce to it. The fries were a bit salty. This was my first visit and would have been my last, but because of the Manager, I will try California Fish Grill again.
