We love eating here! We took our son tonight for his 5th birthday! They are so friendly and made him feel very special! The food is amazing. Our waiter was 10/10 awesome!

The food was amaziiing and service was a 10/10. I traveled from Houston and the food was 1000% worth it. The fajitas exceeded my expectations they were so juicy with a bit of tenderness that left a perfect texture. The quesadillas had a perfect distribute of ingredients that gave me the perfect bite everytime. AND THE MENUDO OH MY GOSH CRAZY GOOD. So good I forgot to take a pic before I finished the bowl. Oops :). I 1000/10 recommend this place if you’re really looking for AUTHENTIC Traditional Mexican food. Do expect it to be a bit busy but service is quick and food is so worth the wait.

We have been coming to this place for many years and have never been disappointed. Fajita nachos, quesadillas, enchiladas (served on corn and not flour tortillas), tacos, huevos a la Mexicana (their cooks love Serrano peppers so beware!), carne guisada, and Garcia’s chicken fried chicken. You name it, it’s all good.
Many of the same waitstaff have been there for a long time so management must be good. The food is what I would think is more traditional Mexican and not Tex-Mex, so it doesn’t taste like other Mexican restaurants in the area, and in my opinion, it’s actually better, so don’t confuse them. It’s a small family owned chain focused in the area just south of Austin and each location we’ve been to, we’ve not been disappointed.

Garcia’s has been my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in Central Texas for the last six years. Their service and food quality is consistent and top notch. For breakfast, I always recommend the Migas Norteñas, and for lunch/dinner, I suggest either the Beef fajita Norteñas or the Combo Plate. They have incredible crunchy beef tacos too. If you like spicy, ask for their breakfast or green salsa.
In addition to their great food, each member of their staff is amazing. You’re always greeted with a smile and a friendly mindset. You can expect to have a positive experience here.

I would return simply for the chips and salsa. Every breakfast brunch dish we ordered was on point. Coffee was great. However, we especially loved how the server kept refilling our dish with additional chips when needed.

The waitress was fantastic, but the hostess was definitely struggling with large groups during a busy time.
Salsa is great, there’s 2 types, one is definitely more spicy.

First time here. Ordered the fried catfish platter which was good and fresh. The fries were a little overcooked though. The tamales were ok. Not something to rave about. But ok. The waitress was nice and courteous. Will come back again. If nearby.

First of all, the staff of the restaurant are very friendly and helpful. The wait staff explained the dishes very well, making us aware of the ingredients (to ensure people with certain allergies and intolerances can choose to deduct/alternate from their orders).
The food was really good – all of the items we ordered and they were fresh. Although we went there towards the closing time, the staff understood it and they were fine having us finish off our foods before we left. We gave them a tip for being so helpful.
The ambience of the restaurant is nice and warm to let customers dine in with their loved ones/family/friends.
I would definitely recommend this place if you are in Kyle or have a craving for Tex-Mex and feel adventurous driving all the way to Kyle from San Marcos/Buda/your location.

It was a great choice! The wait staff was fast and our waitress constantly checked on us even though it was a super busy labor day weekend lunch! Our wait was just around 20 minutes but they got us in quick and we’re organized with it! We got hit with chips and salse as soon as we sat. Got a small queso, yum! We ordered a full quesadilla, added rice and beans on the side. It was perfect, hot melted cheese and crispy Tortilla. Flavor was great! Definitely going back! Side note: I forgot my sunglasses, had to drive back, and as soon as I walked in, a young staff member held them in the air and smiled. I was so happy!
