This is one of the best sushi places i’ve been to, size portions are large and you can get enough even if you share. The variety is awesome and the place is nicely decorated, with many Japanese window engravings and wall designs. Amazing service, our waiter Erika was really nice. It really made our evening

Sushi roll came loosely rolled and the nori was not completely cut through resulting in us have to rip the roll apart to eat it. The tempura batter is not vegan so your options are very limited, although they accommodated by steaming the yam instead of battering it. The server and everyone we interacted with were very kind and informative when it came to the menu so 10/10 on that front. Great staff, mid food

I come here all the time with my husband. The food is delicious but the service is honestly not great. Always a little slow, but tonight was unfortunately probably our last time with them. Walked in right at 4pm, not very busy and at least 6 waitresses in the restaurant. We were seated right away, but sat for exactly 24 minutes and not a single server approached our table. The tables around us were checked on and served food, I even made eye contact with multiple people but still no one cared to serve us. Really disappointing because like I said I love the food. I understand maybe 10 minutes but over 20 was crazy.

Whether you’re just visiting or live here, this is hands-down the best sushi spot in town. I’ve tried a bunch of others in town maybe even all of them and I always end up coming back here. The vibes are awesome, the staff is super friendly, and the food never misses.

I read a few reviews that made me nervous to try this place, but I am so glad I ignored them. We had a lovely dinner here. Not only was the food delicious, the pricing was great! The host was welcoming and friendly. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. She gave us great recommendations. Overall a very pleasant place. We will certainly come back next time we’re in town. We ordered Tuna Poke appetizer, Redding Summer, and Red Blossom. Pictured.
(Appetizer was served more nicely, we had a couple bites before remembering to take pics lol)

Service is great. Food is not very expensive. The shrimp ramen only has a few shrimps. Not recommended. The teriyaki chicken is overcooked. Chicken is a little hard and dry. Overall the food is ok.

Sushi is DELICIOUS. Left: firecracker, middle: zig zag roll (our favorite!) and big daddy roll! So good. The waitresses are always really friendly and great service.

For over a decade I have been a customer at Toyoko Garden, over the years some of the staff has changed, (some still are there) the one thing that remains the same that always keeps me coming back is not just the fresh always good rolls, but they are like family, they do not just make your meals, get a chance to talk to them and they will show you how they actually care about their customers like family. I do not have to come in to eat with anyone, and I never ever have felt like I am having a meal alone. Family meals are few and far between in todays world for most, but its always like eating with family Toyoko Gardens. Chris Schaible aka ( phoenix bartaldo Schaible)

Words cannot express. My mother and I were seated and served promptly, and the food was amazing. I was happy to pay premium price for good food. If I had remembered to get the names of everyone who served us (and permission to name them publicly), I would loudly and proudly do so. Don’t ask me to choose just one item as “best of the best” — there is no one clear winner, it’s all amazing. 5/5 easy and well-earned.

Waited just over an hour and a half for food to be prepared while our door dasher sat there. Ordered 3 sushi dishes, soup and an order of noodles. The soup was missing. There was no soy sauce included in delivery. The rice tasted like it was a day old. The noodles were good. Been eating there for about 4 years. Highly doubt we’ll be back after tonight. Spent around $80 before added fees.
