Beyond disappointed. Currently having lunch here and I wanted the full sea foood experience given the location of this place. We ordered a 2 person seafood plattet (98€!!). For this price point my expectations were quite hiogh. Turns out it’s not fresh. They are precooked and served cold 🙁
I honestly hated it. Most of it was overcooked. We also ordered fries which are also bad (who messes up fries??).
So disappointed.

We were excited to try this place and it ended up being an unpleasant experience. We stood at the counter glancing at menus, a good few minutes with no waiters glancing our way. Until a waiter walks up and reacts rudely that we were holding the menus. Service was extremely supbar. Food average. Experience negligible. Never again.

We stopped in for lunch and sat outside in the terrace, we had the escargot and cheese platter both were OK we also had complimentary bread which was nice and a glass of wine each which was nothing spectacular for €7 a glass. The service was not great the person serving seemed quite rude and standoffish, not sure if this is because we were British tourists, there is also only one toilet which is in the main restaurant. Wouldn’t go back here and would not recommend it to anyone.

I had a bad experience at Le Grignot restaurant during my recent trip to Le Harve. Although the restaurant is quite famous and crowded, my experience was very bad. The service staff is not friendly, even though the price is not cheap. We were constantly asked “are you finished eating?” when they saw us stop eating and talking. it’s worth mentioning that we were the only ones asked, maybe we were racially discriminated against because we were the only two Asians at the restaurant at that time. The other French/French speaking tables were not rushed at all and were very comfortable talking while eating. We were asked 3 times, each time 5 minutes apart by the service staff with a rather unpleasant attitude. And in the end we had to finish the meal very quickly because we were so uncomfortable with the staff’s dismissive attitude. This was my worst experience in France and I will never come back here.

Nice restaurant that allowed us to spend a nice evening, very nice entrée as well as the rest of the dinner.
Service was not great, there was some confusion and delays in ordering and serving.

Comfortable place, atmosphere and decor. The steak and hake were alright, wasn’t sure about the rice, seafood appetizer was lovely. Slow service in a busy restaurant, a bit short-staffed perhaps. All the tables around us were all eagerly waiting to speak with someone.

I had a « magret de canard » perfectly cooked with a glass of red wine « Saint Estephe »
It was absolutely gorgeous ! You are quickly served, the waiter is perfect and welcoming nicely.
